So I had 4 Wheel Parts install a 1 1/4" lift kit that I got from a different company. It's got the clunk over certain bumps, which the lift manufacturer acknowledged and sent me isolators (plate that was mentioned in another thread) that goes between the front strut top and spacer. Haven't had those installed yet.

I'm more concerned about another issue though. Accelerating straight up to about 20 mph and also while cornering, there a shake/wobble I can feel in the floorboard. I haven't seen anyone mention that issue after lifting the Sport, but has anyone had that issue? Or know what might cause it?

So after the tire size increase and lift what is your over all gains, ? are they a 30 inch tire ? And what is your clearance now versus 8.8 . Thanks

Stock tires 235/65R17 measure 29", 245/70R17 are 30.5...so 1.5" difference(.75" lift).

8.8+.75+1.25" come to 10.8" ground clearance. Same as a Jeep Rubicon, I'm good with that ?

How has it been driving on normal roads. Any increase in body roll etc?

Is the lift required if you go with 245/70/17 on a first edition ? Thanks

Really I don't know if the lift actually helped the tire clearance much. It seems like either way it would rub the wheel well liner a bit where the pinch weld is. I lifted it anyway to be safe and get the extra ground clearance.
