  1. Power “delay” or “hesitation”.

Yea this sounds just like my issue. Really hard shifts at low gears.
  2. Power “delay” or “hesitation”.

Yea lot of people are having this issue im surprised there isnt a recall. My BS is fully loaded and sucks to pay that price for a vehicle with these type of issues. Ford is lucky their adaptive cruise control with copilot 360+ and lane centering is so damn good otherwise i would consider it an...
  3. Power “delay” or “hesitation”.

I have the 4 cylinder badlands so may be a bit different but no i havent found out the cause. Have just been dealing with it and trying to roll into an acceleration if i am merging instead of accelerating from a stop etc. I also still notice the jerk or hesitation at slow speeds between 1st and...
  4. Dash rattle

I am experiencing the same thing. It is noticeable when i am playing music with substantial bass.
  5. Adaptive Cruise Control and Engine Braking vs Wheel Braking

Just finished a 200+ mile trip with mostly ACC and tried to really pay attention to what was happening. I didn’t see the RPMs rise when the BS was slowing with a car in front, so im thinking its wheel braking and not engine braking. I couldn’t tell if the brake lights went on but i imagine they...
  6. Adaptive Cruise Control and Engine Braking vs Wheel Braking

I have had similar experiences in traffic, its just too hard on the brakes initially instead of gradual braking. I probably have over 3,000 miles of highway speed driving using ACC around 75 mph from NJ to VT and it works perfect at those speeds.
  7. Adaptive Cruise Control and Engine Braking vs Wheel Braking

Thats good feedback. I will try to compare the mpg on my next weekend trip. It really is an amazing system for cruising. Needs some work in traffic though with the harsh braking but you cant win em all.
  8. Adaptive Cruise Control and Engine Braking vs Wheel Braking

I know this is overly specific. When using the adaptive cruise control (co-pilot 360 Assist+), how much of the vehicle slowing is due to Engine Braking vs Wheel Braking? Also curious if the adaptive cruise control could actually get slightly worse mpg due to excessive wheel braking and...
  9. Factory OEM tires vs. Wildpeak A/T Trails vs AT3Ws - (Big Bend)

Just want to say thank you for the detailed response. I will admit I am not that educated on tires yet. I probably should have mentioned that if I did swap for AT3w then it would be the 245s but will dig into the specs on your website. Thanks!
  10. Factory OEM tires vs. Wildpeak A/T Trails vs AT3Ws - (Big Bend)

Do you mind expanding on some of the differences in performance in the AT3w vs AT Trails? I currently have the trails but am curious if i should swap to AT3w next time around for my badlands. I primarily drive on road but will travel to northeast mountains twice a month during ski season so snow...
  11. Lift Problems *Solved*

How has it been driving on normal roads. Any increase in body roll etc?
  12. Downside of driving in 4wd lock full time?

Well I guess my question is answered then. Thanks everyone. I am assuming the best way to avoid torque steer would be sport mode.
  13. Downside of driving in 4wd lock full time?

I have a badlands, what is the downside of driving in 4wd lock full time? While driving in normal, I notice there is significant torque steer when accelerating out of a turn. If the 4wd lock button is selected, the torque steer is minimized since more power is sent to the rear. Besides the mpg...
  14. Post the best photos you've got of your Bronco Sport

    Nice. What wheels are those?
  15. Power “delay” or “hesitation”.

I have experienced the torque steer pretty often and noticed more and more people commenting about it as well. The good thing is now I know its coming when I step on the gas and am turning. The first time it happened wasn't so fun. Guess this is what happens when you roll the dice on a first...
  16. Power “delay” or “hesitation”.

I just picked up my badlands from service and they could not replicate the issue. I test drove with a women at the counter when i dropped the car off and she noticed the issue, but none of the techs could replicate. There is no recall i just checked. Extremely frustrated. My loaner was the...
  17. Power “delay” or “hesitation”.

Probably true with some people for sure. Id like to think im experienced with 4 cylinder turbos since my last 2 leased cars had 4 cyl turbos. What i am experiencing is way more of an issue than normal turbo lag. Also, while my badlands is at the dealer my current loaner is the escape which has...
  18. Power “delay” or “hesitation”.

was is more of power hesitation or like abrupt shifting between gears?
  19. Power “delay” or “hesitation”.

I am planning on it thanks for the advice. I am taking it to Ford tomorrow morning so thought i would let them figure it out first and if they cannot replicate the issue then I would try recalibrating myself. Wish me luck -_-.
  20. Power “delay” or “hesitation”.

I had the torque steer as well but that is an issue with a lot of front wheel drive cars which is expected. The problem is torque steer combined with the power delay. You go to accelerate and nothing happens for a few seconds and then bam! all the power at once which leads to the torque steer if...
