Could it be a proximity sensor for the alarm?

Cooling when you open the door ? I find that kind of odd , also , LED lights normally don't need cooling of any kind . The Head Lights , maybe .

LED headlights frequently have either a heat sink or fan, or both.

I hear the same noise if I go into the garage and open the front door to take something out. It does make a noise after the door is shut.

I can understand the cooling of the headlights after being used, but after 3 days of sitting it shouldn't be making any noise. If it is somehow humidity related to the lights, I live in the desert with very low humidity and it is in a garage. The noise is brief, less than 5 seconds. However, I think Ford should let owners know this happens, otherwise I see a lot of unnecessary trips to the dealer to find out, and even then if the mechanics don't know; it will be just a big waste of time.

The headlights are LED. This noise is the fan sound. Mine makes other odd noises as well when the engine in turned off.

When I first heard it , I thought it was like a fan when you're PC needs cooling . I thought the Head lights were not LED , that only the running light Markers were.

My guess is that since it's a turbo motor with little manifold vacuum it may be an electric vacuum pump topping off the vac canister so all the vac operated devices are ready for work. My F250 diesel sounds like this for the first few minutes the key is on, and off. it's a turbo

Vac operated devices were replaced with electrical devices long ago. I’d be very surprised if any high volume manufacturer made any cars with a vac operated device in 2021. Besides, what vac operated device would you need to use before the engine was running?

Your car doesn’t know where it is, nor does it care. If those fans were designed to reduce humidity (or temperapture) they’ll run whenever they are designed to run.
