puttling climate conroles onto the screen

Are the controls fixed on the screen, so that they show even on the CarPlay screens?

Climate controls are only on Sync 3.4 (not CarPlay) - see link in Post #10 and attached pic:

some are some are not. the knobs are but the buttons I don't believ so, unless they are active. I will doubel check. i am getting pretty good at finding them from memory but they are small and not the easiest button layout.

I remember thinking when I bought the car that maybe they took a pacy from gmc and the interior ilumination with the tech package would have a little led light directed at the control area, like it does in my wifes 2019 ford edge. it lights up the cup area and the buttons below the screen with out interferign with anything else, but nope all it does is light up the footwells and the door handles.

Yep, I can't understand why people wouldn't want them there or say it clutters up the screen.
