I did Hyperdip piano black (plastidip but a smoother finish) for the rear and solid plastic shells that completely cover the entire white letter on the front.

The Hyperdip convered great and you can see the body paint inside all of the letter openings. The front grill letters are much larger than the rear and so you can still see the paint through, but they obviously take up more room so the openings are smaller.

I have the green so I didn't want any of the white letters to show, but if you have a white body it might not matter and the stickers might look good.

Another option is to get the black letters from Ford and completely remove and replace what's on the body. I will note that the front letters are originally installed using heat welded posts, so you need to remove the bumper to replace. The rear are just stuck on with tape.

The front letters are larger than the back. We tried to just put the overlays on the back and so how much larger the overlays are.

I haven't contacted the vendor as these were received back in July. I had them sitting with other items for when my son was available to put them on. So I will end up buying the rear one.
Never hurts to ask. Maybe they can do a swap out!

I bought a 2025 white Badlands and have a question for those who have done this.

I want some contrast between the white BL and the white letters on the rear hatch. I'm keeping the grille letters white.

What was your preference, overlays or decals and why?

Obviously, the decals are cheaper, but I'm concerned with the durability.

What product did you go with and are you satisfied with it?
I would say for the letters an overlay in better like these: bro002-rear-bronco-sport-letter-ford-bronco-sport

But for the vehicle itself I would go with decals as I did with mine. It was easy to apply. There were a few small bubbles but within a week they were gone.

I removed the lettering on the tailgate for a smoother look 👍

Hey have you check with your state DMV, many states consider those brakes light covers illegal. If you get rear ended and the other claims they did not see your brake light you can be at fault.

I have gone back and forth on whether I would remove the letters, just the sport letters, or just do the overlays/plasidipping them. I think, for now, I will go with the overlays.

Plus, since I am not putting a Bronco on the back (Sasquatch was added), I might keep the letters.

I have decals from Etsy. Had them since April of this year , and have gone through the car wash several times. No problem, plus with decals you can change any time you want.
Same here. Etsy, and I'm pleased with them.

On the back, I am doing black letters. I was always planning to offset the letters with the background in my red and black scheme.

I like that the Tufskinz letters are made in the USA.
Yes they are and made to order which is smart on their part, you not storing inventory hoping it sales. But you can wait up to a week.
