Can the speed sign recognition be disabled, or is it a constant distraction? I assume it does not automatically adjust the speed?

Do you you remember how many miles were on the odometer when you picked it up? Curious if our pride and joys are being taken on joy rides.

i think mine had like 80. I think people were test driving it from when it came in. Mine was not an order though but I did reserve it with the dealer and picked it up the day it was delivered

I know you can set the tolerance up to 5 miles over and I think you can turn it off completely (I will check for sure when I go out at lunch). It does not adjust the speed for you. It just flashes a little speed limit sign on the dash.

I don’t think so. If you’re like me.. not a fan of auto stop start.. when you get in your vehicle just get in the habit of pressing 1 then pressing 2

Hi folks, this works in mine, and others Rangers for those that don't like the auto Start/stop. It uses just enough voltage to trick the computer into thinking that the parameters haven't been met to enable the system. I'm not sure if the Sport has the 110 outlet, but it's cheap enough to try if you want. The light goes on/off with the ignition switch. This link is to Amazon, but I found then at Wally World for the same price.

You CAN turn it off in the settings.

Thanks for all the good info. My build date is 2/22/21. BL w/ BL package. Hope to see one at my dealers soon for a first hand look. Nothing so far has me thinking I made a bad choice. Can't wait.

How long after you found out the vin did they deliver? I found out my vin last week, just wondering when I’ll receive it.

When in sport mode and the auto start is disabled, is there an annoying red or yellow light on the dash or elsewhere that provides an irritating "auto-off" notice lamp / icon? I nixed another vehicle (Honda Ridgeline) because when the auto-start was disabled (by push button or by third party disable) it presented a bright, distracting "auto-start off" icon on the dashboard to punish the driver.

Not while in sport mode, there's no notification.

That would be a show-stopper for me too. In the control-systems world, a flashing light on any HMI is meant to be distracting- an attention-getter. You should never train yourself to ignore them, lest you miss something that really matters.
