Does anyone have a tutorial video or photos for the aux switch wire locations for 2025 Bronco Sport

Thanks, I've read all these. I can see directly behind the wheel well liner from the engine bay. I even used a mirror to look under the supports. I see nothing. I might still take the wheel well liner off just to make sure. It would be crazy that they would bury them in a place you can't even see!

Btw, my Big Bend has the Black Diamond Offroad Package.

Maybe @ELCouz will respond to you with pics or more details

The post I linked to did say to remove both front tires and fold back the liners:

…we were able to remove a couple of the securing clips and by carefully folding it back to expose the wires, we did not have to completely remove the liner but we did have to remove both front tires. (Use jack stands and extreme caution when working in this area!

I finally got a video of accessing the wires. I’ll post it as soon as I get permission from the awesome member who took the time to video it.

Did the instructions differ from the ElCouz post? Seems like would be the same wiring locations for all 2025s with the Aux feature

I have a cowl bracket for each side. You loosen the hood hinge and sandwich them in-between the hood and hinge. Just make sure you apply painters tape around the hinge on the hood in case the hood moves on you. The tape helps to reposition the hood to hinge.

If I mount a light bar it would go on top of the brush guard or below the license plate frame. Don't want to block any sensors.
Actually, you don't sandwich the bracket between the hood and hinge. That would raise the hood and screw up the alignment with fenders. The bracket will go between bolts and the hinge assembly :)

Looking to add some light options to the aux switches. It looks like from the link to bronco nation (https://thebronconation.com/news/bronco-sport-sasquatch-auxiliary-switches-how-to-use-t.21841/) they are pretty hard to locate/get at. I was hoping that someone has done it already and can give some advice, photos, or videos. Thanks!

The easiest to access is the one noted as 'D' in the picture from the manual. Just unwrap the electrical tape in that location, and there's the wire. The wire at that location on mine was green/brown, which is Aux 2. The other locations require removal of wheels and are behind the inner fender liners, from what i understand.

Also, the full-size Bronco and the trucks have a relay box for the auxiliary circuits, but it looks like the Bronco sport is just fused, with no relays installed?

Thanks for the info. Yeah. I found all of them eventually. No need for relay when you are dealing with low power items like LED lights. Switch and fuse work just fine.

Switch 1 is 30A and 2-4 are 10A each, so yeah, most modern lights should be fine. If one wanted to exceed that, then adding a relay in line on that circuit isn’t a big deal.

I agree on the 10A circuits, but on Aux 1 (30A), I wouldn't want 30A running through the switch and 22AWG wire... 22 Guage wire is rated at 7A in open air, and 5A enclosed (in a harness).

So, based on the rating of the wire used for this 'upfitter' switch system, I would use relays for all switches, and consider them as 5A switches. They are not 10A switches or 30A switches, they are 5 Amp. Ford has done all of us a disservice, and possibly caused melted wiring. Not cool.

maybe this is Ford’s reasoning to label Aux 1 and Aux 2-4 as they did:

Unfortunately no way to confirm the following is directly applicable to the 2025 Bronco Sport Aux switches

1. All 4 Aux Wires Are Signal Wires
  • Their only job is to pass a 12V logic-level signal when a switch is pressed.
  • This signal is used to energize a relay coil — which draws maybe 100–200 mA, not 10–30A.
2. The “30A” Rating Refers to the Underhood Circuit
  • In the fuse panel, Ford provides a 30A fuse & relay position for AUX 1.
  • If you run new 10 or 12 AWG wiring from that fuse location to your accessory, you can safely draw 30A — but you must bypass the 0.35 mm² wire.
  • Ford assumes the installer understands the need to route heavier wire for high-current applications

I would not run any lights through this switch system without a relay. The wires are rated for 5A. Use relays for everything that you hookup to this switch system that uses 5A or more. Melted wires in a harness are no fun, and you don't want to go there.
