Hello! I have a 2025 Bronco Sport Badlands (I bought it in January of this year). I'm anal ex-military so this issue is driving me nuts! This is my 2nd Bronco Sport Badlands. In the 2022 Bronco Sport Badlands I had, the PASSENGER side windshield wiper, when turned FULLY OFF, laid totally FLAT. You could not stand in front of the car and see ANY part of the windshield wiper. NONE OF IT. NOW . . . I have a 2025 and when the *passenger* wiper is turned FULLY OFF it sticks up! So when you stand in front of the car, one windshield wiper lays flat (driver's side) and one STICKS UP. 1. My local Ford dealer said the right size wipers were on the right side (the driver's is a little longer); 2. I KNOW when you're using the wipers intermittently, the passenger side wiper sticks up a little, but in my 2022 when you turned the wiper FULLY OFF, it laid flat and you could stand in front of the car and not see it. Is this a design defect? My Ford dealer is telling me it was designed that way. See the photo. So someone at Ford said "you know, it looks too clean to have each wiper go far down so you don't see them when they are off, how about we do something stupid and make one wiper STICK UP when it's fully off." I mean what the hell is going on here? I'm already livid that some idiot said "hey! You know how people like that we light up the USB and C port? Let's take that away and make them struggle to find the hole." haha. So Ford's "redesign" of the 2025 is already lame. Just wondering if anyone else is having this issue with the PASSENGER side windshield wiper. Thank you!

Thank you for letting me know that. But in my 2022 the passenger side wiper lays totally flat. It's not a "design feature" to have one wiper exposed and the other that lies flat. In my 2025 when I turn the wiper *totally off* it does one more "push" down and then I can't see it from the front.

Man I can't wait to hear your opinion on the rear wiper.
lol. It's working fine although it is "punky." haha. Listen, if I'm right, and I know that my 2022 passenger side windshield wiper **laid flat and out of view** then this is some nonsense. It looks cheap and silly to have one windshield wiper lying flat and one sticking up.

In the 2022 Bronco Sport Badlands I had, the PASSENGER side windshield wiper, when turned FULLY OFF, laid totally FLAT.
As you can see you are getting push back from ‘21-24 owners (and 2025s too) that the PASSENGER side windshield wiper, when turned FULLY OFF, laid totally FLAT.

The fact is while the passenger side wiper on your 2022 laid fully flat when off apparently is not the typical experience for almost all ‘21-‘24 owners that posted on this Forum - many owners report the passenger side wiper sticks up when off exactly like it does on your 2025.

Now for the strange part - my 2022 Badlands passenger side wiper stuck up exactly like it does on your 2025 … until last week. Now it lays fully flat and is fully hidden when off like the drivers side is.

Only 3 years and 4 months for that to happen.

That's wild! So we're not wrong! haha. I just wanted to be crystal clear, because I know that when it's operating *intermittently* the wiper on my 2022 used to land where it sticks up a tad. But then when I turned it off, it went another step down and totally hid it. Weird yours did that. After 3 years. lol. Thank you for your response.

Don't some trim levels have heated wiper element in the windshield, thus need to be parked in a certain place for them to work?

And the length of the right side wiper needs to be long enough remove the water/ice/snow/mud/bird droppings in front of the sensors (lane assist camera, auto dim, rain, etc.)

I'm not saying you're wrong, you may be right, but I was at Ford today and why don't they know their product if that's the case. All I know is that I'm not incorrect, my 2022 passenger side windshield wiper laid flat. So when you were standing in front of the car/hood you looked at the glass and saw nothing, just the glass, the windshield wipers were hidden. Now in 2025 the passenger side sticks up. Who on earth at Ford would think that's a smart "new" design feature? Thank you for your response.

I saw in Forscan a PID to enable "Rear courtesy wipe." ??
Just wondering exactly how that works in practice. ?

I’ll have to check something. Maybe if you use the single swipe (pull lever down) or washer fluid (lever towards you) it stays upright, but if you have them turned fully on and then switch them off it will bury the wiper below the hood. You have me thinking now as well that sometimes it is below the hood.

The placement of the passenger wiper on my 2025 BS Badlands is where my 2022 wiper would stop - when I was using them intermittently. Then when I turned them fully off, they went down even more to where you could not see it when you were standing in front of the car. Who on earth at Ford would think that's a smart "new" design feature? Thank you for your response.
