(REAR WIPER RECOMMENDATION BELOW)

After taking a weekend road trip, I noticed that my wipers were streaking and I had been wanting to upgrade a few of the OEM/motorcraft parts on my BS Badlands including the windshield wipers. I found that, in general, most find that “Bosch ICON” wipers are the best around so I ordered some.

On their website, it said that for the Bronco Sport it should be their bundle of the 24OE for Driver and 20OE for Passenger. (Also available on Amazon.) While they did fit, the driver side fit perfectly with an extra 1/2” on each end that doesn’t impact anything, however the passenger side was 1” short on each side. So I got the 22OE and it fit perfectly matching the OEM passenger side width. (I wouldn’t go further, the 24OE on the passenger side could clear everything except when the wiper rests, it would hit the bottom when the wipers recede. 22OE may tap slightly when the wiper recedes but very rarely if ever; I’m not concerned, no sound or damage. Sadly, there is no bundle of 24OE and 22OE.) They have been working beautifully, I know others here have done the same with equally great results and I must say they're all true. Highly recommend.

This is how it looked with the Bosch Bundle, notice how short the Passenger Side is compared to the OEM stroke path.

Here's the extra length you get on the Driver's Side compared to OEM. OEM on the right.

This is where the replacement proper length passenger side 22OE lands when down. Close, but not touching.

Now the main recommendation I can make. I know some were looking for the same.

When it came to the rear wiper the official guides on their site and Amazon came up with nothing. I did not want to have my vehicle imbalanced between the front and rear wiper manufacturers and I did not want to let my rear suffer a worse wipe. I could have gone with OEM parts but I was deep in the sauce by now. With some research I found the Bosch Rear 10” (A250H). Most rear wipers are the wrong design or have the wrong connection, this one was perfect in both respects. Now the OEM rear wiper is 9” and had referenced online that some had said the length was so specific it shouldn’t be any longer or it will affect the lift gate or jump the window at the top touching the body.

I am so happy to report that the A250H does NOT jump the window nor affect the lift gate. (It'll never be straight up when I open the window hatch anyways.) Also, no streaking or other issues to be noticed. While it is longer, it still is within the window, admittedly barely, and gives you 5/8” more vision on each side than OEM which I’m sure we have all seen how small the wiper patch/view out the back is. Any additional width is greatly appreciated and I can confirm that it is a beautiful sight.

I am not paid or sponsored by Bosch, I just wanted the best replacement products for my lil’ Bronco buddy and wanted to share this find.

These last photos are of the extra width of visibility I get with the Bosch Rear. You can still see a bit of the old OEM stroke path to see how much more visibility you get on each side. This was still the first day or so, I've since taken her through the carwash and that old path is gone.

That’s great information @IndyHatGuy

There has been a fair amount of confusion on the length and part # for the 2 front wiper blades and it didn’t help that some of the Ford Owners Manuals had (or still have) incorrect OEM part #’s.

What are the lengths for these two wipers that you used:
Bosch ICON 24OE Driver side length is ??”

Bosch ICON 22OE Passenger side length is ??”

Bosch ICON A250H Rear 10”

I believe these are the corrected OEM part #s and sizes… given your research and measurements, do you concur these are the OEM sizes and part #s? (I’ll bookmark your info on which provides sizes for best fitting Bosch ICON wipers).

OEM Wiper Blades: UPDATED PER MEASUREMENTS 06-12-2023

driver’s side 23”: Motorcraft WW-2302 (also see M1PZ-17528-E)
passenger side 21”: Motorcraft WW-2117 (also see M1PZ-17528-D)

Rear wiper 9”: Motorcraft WW-901-A Wiper Blade (also see MIPZ-17528-FA)

MOTORCRAFT:
WW-2302 Standard, driver side (left)
WW-2117 Standard, passenger side (right)
WW-901-A Standard, Rear

Of course! The Bosch ICON 24OE Driver side is 24" and the Bosch ICON 22OE Passenger side is 22".

Those lengths are correct for the OEM parts. The interesting difference being is the OEM blades essentially come flush to the end of the wiper blade holder whereas the Bosch blades end before the end caps. This results in a very minimal difference between the OEM 21" and the Bosch 22", having just measured it, it's only about an 1/8th of an inch longer. It's so minimal I barely noticed, but definitely should be noted. Definitely explains the extra 1/2" difference on the Driver's side with the extra inch of length overall. I did notice though that the OEM 21" lays flat at about 21 1/4" which may also explain the discrepancy and how the Bosch 22" fits fine.

Thanks … also … based on owner feedback for their vehicle the drivers side could measure 23” or maybe 24” and the passenger side could measure 21” or 22” but that might be due to whatever wipers Ford had on hand during a manufacturing cycle IDK

For example, this is the measured size for my 2022 Badlands with wipers laying flat (however I’m sure I didn’t measure using exactly the same method you used, I don’t remember now if I measured end cap to end cap or just the rubber blade portion)

driver’s side 23”: Motorcraft WW-2302 (also see M1PZ-17528-E)

passenger side 21”: Motorcraft WW-2117 (also see M1PZ-17528-D)

This is great stuff. I have used Bosch in the past and my wife’s BSBl needs new before winter gets too rough. The added rear will have to wait.

For rear ONLY I tried replacement blade material from Amazon:
https://www.amazon.com/jeseny-Replacement-Windshield-Adjustable-Accessories/dp/B0BP9MXH2N/

Got mine a long time ago so not sure if link is still good. It’s just blade material in long strips. You cut to length and replace in existing blade assy. Easy to do and you get a new wiper for @ $1.00 — and it‘s worked fine for me for the last two years..

NOTE: I don’t use the wiper to clean rear glass, I only run it intermittently when it’s raining so the wiper mostly sits in the sun and rots — which is why I want a cheap replacement.

This is so satisfying, I might need to change the rear blade to your recommendation just to get the clean tangent intersection.

Great job on the research for such a practical replacement! I'm pretty sure the part number I had for the rear was only 8" last time I looked it up. But like @Dude Mentioned maybe it varies based on what ford had available.

What did that run you total for the 3? Around $60?

I’ve always had good luck with RainX blades, I’m not that tall so I went with 18 inch blades. I rarely if ever use the rear hatch wiper, so it’s still the OEM

I saw your post on FB about the rear wiper and came here as well. Thanks for pointing out the front wiper issues with measurements. I bought the recommended wipers previously and noticed they didn't fit right. I simply swapped the driver and passenger. It works pretty well, but yes it does contact the rubber boot you mentioned. Really appreciate this post.

I just purchased a Motorcraft rear wiper blade from the dealer, 20 something bucks isn't a deal breaker for something that lasts for a few years You can spend more than that for a burger, fries and a shake and it doesnt last nearly as long, lol.
