(REAR WIPER RECOMMENDATION BELOW)
After taking a weekend road trip, I noticed that my wipers were streaking and I had been wanting to upgrade a few of the OEM/motorcraft parts on my BS Badlands including the windshield wipers. I found that, in general, most find that “Bosch ICON” wipers are the best around so I ordered some.
On their website, it said that for the Bronco Sport it should be their bundle of the 24OE for Driver and 20OE for Passenger. (Also available on Amazon.) While they did fit, the driver side fit perfectly with an extra 1/2” on each end that doesn’t impact anything, however the passenger side was 1” short on each side. So I got the 22OE and it fit perfectly matching the OEM passenger side width. (I wouldn’t go further, the 24OE on the passenger side could clear everything except when the wiper rests, it would hit the bottom when the wipers recede. 22OE may tap slightly when the wiper recedes but very rarely if ever; I’m not concerned, no sound or damage. Sadly, there is no bundle of 24OE and 22OE.) They have been working beautifully, I know others here have done the same with equally great results and I must say they're all true. Highly recommend.
This is how it looked with the Bosch Bundle, notice how short the Passenger Side is compared to the OEM stroke path.
Here's the extra length you get on the Driver's Side compared to OEM. OEM on the right.
This is where the replacement proper length passenger side 22OE lands when down. Close, but not touching.
Now the main recommendation I can make. I know some were looking for the same.
When it came to the rear wiper the official guides on their site and Amazon came up with nothing. I did not want to have my vehicle imbalanced between the front and rear wiper manufacturers and I did not want to let my rear suffer a worse wipe. I could have gone with OEM parts but I was deep in the sauce by now. With some research I found the Bosch Rear 10” (A250H). Most rear wipers are the wrong design or have the wrong connection, this one was perfect in both respects. Now the OEM rear wiper is 9” and had referenced online that some had said the length was so specific it shouldn’t be any longer or it will affect the lift gate or jump the window at the top touching the body.
I am so happy to report that the A250H does NOT jump the window nor affect the lift gate. (It'll never be straight up when I open the window hatch anyways.) Also, no streaking or other issues to be noticed. While it is longer, it still is within the window, admittedly barely, and gives you 5/8” more vision on each side than OEM which I’m sure we have all seen how small the wiper patch/view out the back is. Any additional width is greatly appreciated and I can confirm that it is a beautiful sight.
I am not paid or sponsored by Bosch, I just wanted the best replacement products for my lil’ Bronco buddy and wanted to share this find.
These last photos are of the extra width of visibility I get with the Bosch Rear. You can still see a bit of the old OEM stroke path to see how much more visibility you get on each side. This was still the first day or so, I've since taken her through the carwash and that old path is gone.
