Does anyone have the step by step instructions for replacing a headlight on the sport? I've seen a thousand videos that start with removing the 9 clips but nothing that matches what I have. I've seen like 3 videos of people removing the entire front end for other purposes. Thinking maybe you have to remove the full front end to replace the lights but haven't seen that for sure. Seems like there would be a video or instructions out there somewhere but I've not been able to find anything in a couple weeks of on and off looking.

There is no "bulb" assembly that is user replaceable, the headlamp assembly must be replaced as an entire component according to the parts listings.

These LEDs have a very long lifespan rating and it's rare to have one fail so soon, I would check your fuses first prior to heading to a replacement and check with your dealer for warranty coverage as they would be covered under the base warranty of 3yrs, 36K miles.

And yes, the front end disassembly to get at the headlamp is a bit of a pain.

It's cracked and it needs to be replaced. I'm just looking for instructions on that process because I haven't been able to find them anywhere.

Hi Travis,

Haven't done one myself (yet), but I have seen a lot of comments stating the front grille assembly needs to come off for access, sorry I can't help further.

This owner said “The whole front grill, bumper, etc. has to come off” so sounds like you will need to follow the YouTube videos you found for that

The manufacturers are trying to make sure you cannot repair the vehicle yourself. This is a bunch of bullshit because a lot of us owners are perfectly capable of changing a headlight. It used to be undo 3 screws in the trim ring and unplug the headlight, not anymore. I miss my 74 scout.

If it's just a crack you can use a little clear UV curable resin to cover/seal it up. Works great.
