I've long advocated that Ford should offer the 2.0 as an option to all trim models. Auto manufacturers have always designed their product around what they think is most profitable for them rather than what the customer wants. Ford is gullty of this, yet have pi$$ed off $10 billon on EV's in the past two model years. A strange business model, huh?I just want an Outer Banks with the 2.0L engine as I don't off road.
.
@Mark S. ….. I was really hoping they would came out with the “Chupacabra” edition with red white green pin stripes. ?Any idea what the 8R6 reference is?
EDIT: Nevermind, just realized it's the date. Duh.
It's MEANER than a Sasquatch!@Mark S. ….. I was really hoping they would came out with the “Chupacabra” edition with red white green pin stripes. ?
All Cryptid BS line in 2026 would be amazing ?@Mark S. ….. I was really hoping they would came out with the “Chupacabra” edition with red white green pin stripes. ?
Extra brake howl will diminish the appeal. It's MEANER than a Sasquatch!
This is exactly what I wanted too in 2021! I guess that’s where they are pushing the Corsair and Maverick. I really wanted an Outer Banks with the 2.0 so I went with a Badlands. I wanted the Badlands package but I had to jump on an available one without but was going for MSRP. I’m missing a couple nicer interior things, but I have no regrets and have fun with the GOAT modes.I've long advocated that Ford should offer the 2.0 as an option to all trim models. I wish i would have looked at the Maverick last December when i got my 2023 BS BB a couple weeks ago i found an AWD XLT Maverick with the 2.0 Eco Boost and the MSRP was $2,000.00 Cheaper than my BS was i guess live and learn. This is exactly what I wanted too in 2021! I know a fella that has a Mav with the hybird engine and he loves it for the fuel mileage. Wouldn't be difficult to put this in BS. Maybe they will suprise us. There are some compelling reasons for buying the Mav. I'm normally a function over form guy, but the thing is butt ugly to me.I wish i would have looked at the Maverick last December when i got my 2023 BS BB a couple weeks ago i found an AWD XLT Maverick with the 2.0 Eco Boost and the MSRP was $2,000.00 Cheaper than my BS was i guess live and learn.
You're probably right. The 2025 Colors for the Maverick show velocity blue.If those are the SAS editions, it looks like Ford is bringing back Velocity Blue for 2025.
