That's ok. No one here will mind much if you post here how much better your Honda is. ?The Passport forum is dead.?
Plenty of new Hondas with problems. Some so severe they get lemoned or traded in. Go hang around the Pilot / Passport forums you'll see. My wife wants something bigger and we waiting on redesigned Passport so I have been reading up. We had an '09 Pilot and '14 CRV we bought both new. Overall good vehicles but not completely problem free. CRV had the famous grind on start which Honda had no fix for. Pilot had leaky front suspension bushings, front rotors warped at 20k miles, a lot of creaks rattles around 59k miles. So far far far from infallible vehicles. But my wife did love both of those Hondas. It's a Honda....so.....no one complains about Honda's.![]()
I have the Big Bend and wish it was also an option in it.I like the options my Big Bend has so just adding the 2.0 Eco Boost would have been enough options.Although the Pedal Max did help make me like the 1.5 Eco Boost much more.I would still think you could have got a Badlands cheaper than the Passport? And doesn't the Badlands have more standard options than the Outer Banks?I like the Outer Banks and if it had a 2.0L option, I'd consider one.
Probably because Hondas just don't have the problems Fords due. Complete and udder greed hasn't taken over Honda yet so they at least for now care about QC.The Passport forum is dead.?
A Badlands Sport with all options is 47k MSRP according to Fords Build and Price web site. Base price on a Badlands Sport is right around 40k no options none. I see 2024 Black Edition Passports, top trim level, sticker at 49k and most dealers around me are knocking 4-5k off sticker price. And there are lower trim Passports a lot cheaper too.I have the Big Bend and wish it was also an option in it.I like the options my Big Bend has so just adding the 2.0 Eco Boost would have been enough options.Although the Pedal Max did help make me like the 1.5 Eco Boost much more.I would still think you could have got a Badlands cheaper than the Passport? And doesn't the Badlands have more standard options than the Outer Banks?
Ford is capitalizing on the popularity.A Badlands Sport with all options is 47k MSRP according to Fords Build and Price web site. Base price on a Badlands Sport is right around 40k no options none. Wow it looks like the Badlands base price took a big jump since 2023.A Badlands Sport with all options is 47k MSRP according to Fords Build and Price web site. It’s crazy. I paid low 30’s for my 2022 Badlands Sport without the premium package. It’s hard for me to think of the vehicle being a mid 40’s vehicle.Wow it looks like the Badlands base price took a big jump since 2023.
A '24 Sport equivalent to my '21 is 47k MSRP. So a Badlands Sport optioned up is quite expensive now. It’s crazy. I paid low 30’s for my 2022 Badlands Sport without the premium package. It’s hard for me to think of the vehicle being a mid 40’s vehicle.
And preventing dealers from marking them up too. Still nothing out there quite like a Badlands Sport.Ford is capitalizing on the popularity.
In reality it is not a mid-$40s vehicle. Ford upped the MSRP but they can be had cheaper now than when I was looking at the end of 2022:It’s crazy. I paid low 30’s for my 2022 Badlands Sport without the premium package. It’s hard for me to think of the vehicle being a mid 40’s vehicle.
