My Bronco Sport has a leak from the passenger side A pillar area. I purchased it new in 2021. I have put approx. 25,000 miles on the vehicle. The vehicle has had no accidents and is fully paid for. I have not had the windshield replaced or anything similar. Whenever it rains or gets washed, water leaks in around the a pillar. On a recent road trip this caused the front floor boards & rear drivers floor boards to become soaked (torrential rain while driving The Florida Turnpike). I researched and saw some people had issues with the a/c drain line causing this, but I brought my vehicle to the dealership and they advised the drain lines were fine. Also, I checked underneath and water seemed to be draining from the a/c with no issues. Anyone else have this issue?

Do you have a sunroof? It is not uncommon ( in any vehicle) to have the drain tube for the sunroof get clogged. That is why I no longer put a hole in a perfectly good roof. That, and it adds weight to your top which is not a benefit to your center of gravity.

A bilge pump...

On a serious note, sit in the car while someone uses a water hose and sprays around the window side, and front windshield.

My guess is around the lower windshield at where the wipers are located.

It is quite possible the seal on the windshield failed. I had that happen on my Dakota on a replaced windshield. They explained to me that unfortunately there are instances where the seal process fails. Not often, but it does.

This is a conditions of a passenger side roof seal on a brand new Bronco Sport. I was so shocked seeing this, I took this picture. I inspect my windshield seals periodically.

A seal on my 23 BL with sunroof came loose ( about a foot length ) in the middle across the vehicle sealing sunroof with roof. It would flap in the wind, but it never caused a leak. Replaced under warranty, but the part is not just the seal, seal comes attached to the roofs leading panel. Body shop repair and the window needed to be removed to replace the panel.

Has it been doing this since it was brand new?
Not to this extent, but every now and again after a wash I would see a drip of water where the molding stacks together by the passenger floor board/door (see image).

I would say it must be a windshield leak issue for water to be coming out the spot in this picture.

Hi there. This leak concern doesn’t sound like something we want you to experience with your Bronco Sport. Could you please send us a PM with your VIN and the name and location of your Ford dealer?
