Fordpass App 5.0 Launched

This is on my I phone now. Definitely changed, for the better I don't know.

With the old version I could open the app and see the speedo mileage on the sport. Now when I open it all I see is the fuel range left.

I guess it doesn't show the current speedo mileage or I can't figure out how to access the info.

It does show the open recall 24S24 PCM/BCM recalibration.

Using an iPhone:

Click on Service (bottom right)
Click on Vehicle Health (at the top)
Alerts
Status (tire pressure …)
Oil Life Remaining
Odometer (mileage)

Just remember … it says “ Quicker access to key features “ !! haha

Looks to me that most features are still present - just need to click around to familiarize oneself, however currently these features are MIA:
extended warranty info
owners manual
ability to enter your own service info

Do you mean for the FordPass App or last time and date the App pulled info from the vehicle?

I only see the App version: v5.0.0

Data shown in the App is “near real-time” however in this App version: v5.0.0 doing a screen “pulldown” which causes most Apps to refresh their data doesn’t show any visible evidence that the update occurred which the prior version of the App 4.37.0 did show it was updating by doing a screen “pulldown”.

I have miles to empty on the home page. I have to scroll to get odometer on service page. It's just off the screen. As mentioned, info still there. Just have to get used to it. Samsung Android phone.

I couldn't find it on my iPhone with the 5.0 app. I could see the history, but no way to add records. It looked like I could do it from my workstation at Service History (ford.com) as there is still an "add record" button there. That be said, I've always had issues with uploading the receipts for self-service. Cheers!

I don't think the interface on ver 5.0 is an improvement. You can find total mileage under "service". I liked the old press and hold a little better than the new option for starting the vehicle.

To get all the information , hit "service" at the bottom right. Then "Vehicle Health" I had trouble finding the tire pressure, and it was there.

From what I have been reading here, I think I'll stay with the present version unless I have to make a change.
