Where I live the dealer doesn't haggle and I don't believe they ever have. You pay the sticker at the time your purchase it or order it, and get any incentives that Ford might be offering.

My Badlands is trouble free so far. I learned to discount Consumer Report's reports on vehicles a long time ago. They seem to have some major bias for and against the various manufacturers. Their reports have never resembled my personal experiences with the various vehicles I've had.

The original battery on my Escape had an issue. It affected the stop/start function. Ford kept telling me the battery was fine. I replaced it before the car reached 4 years old and everything electronic seemed to work better, including the stop/start.

I've purchased from Flood, Lombard, and Granger. Flood and Lombard are usually $100 over when I've checked so Granger usually beats them by $50.

Granger is a Ford Dealer and sells the Premium Ford extended warranty. It's the same thing you can buy direct from Ford... just at a lower cost.

Guess there will be a recall on my vehicle...
