I was able to program my homelink in the 22 Bronco today after putting a new battery in my remote opener. I just followed the instructions and everything worked. Previous to putting in the new battery my attempts at programming failed.
I began purchasing the Ford extended warranties about a decade ago. I've only used it on one vehicle, our Ford Escape, and the dealerships took care of us like they would have any other customer. I like the peace of mind it gives me that at least during the warranty period I'm not going to get...
I take whatever CR says with a grain of salt. They have some significant bias that works its way into the results they publish. They're probably right about jeep...
Rock chips are kind of a random thing. Most of the vehicles up where I live have cracked windshields. Generally speaking, we don't bother repairing them. My Bronco sport had windshield damage within a few months of owning it. Of our three EcoSports in the family, one has two or three hits to...
@JerryInMexico, I did some web searches to see what I could learn about your warranty coverage. My new car warranty and extended warranty indicate that the warranties are honored at any Ford dealer in the US or Canada... my car was purchased in the US. The best I could find on the topic was a...
I normally leave it in normal mode, but two days ago I returned to learn we'd had about 20 inches of snow and it was just too much for my daughter to plow with the atv or blow with the snow blower. She tried but we ended up with a mess. When she was driving us home from the airport she got...
Where I live the dealer doesn't haggle and I don't believe they ever have. You pay the sticker at the time your purchase it or order it, and get any incentives that Ford might be offering.
My Badlands is trouble free so far. I learned to discount Consumer Report's reports on vehicles a long time ago. They seem to have some major bias for and against the various manufacturers. Their reports have never resembled my personal experiences with the various vehicles I've had.
When my Bronco Sport finally came in I used an x-plan and to do that they had to go off the new price which was a few thousand higher. So they figured out what I owed with the x-plan and then promised I'd get a check once they sent the paperwork in to Ford and Ford figured the price protection...
It's happened to me twice so far where the daytime running lights have stayed on after I've parked, turned off, left the vehicle and locked it. Come back and it's still lit up.
For about the last 25 years or so I've only purchased Ford because my experience has been quite good. I did have an Escape that developed a half dozen fluid leaks but those got fixed under the extended warranty and otherwise that car is a good one. My experience with my '22 badlands has been...
Just did my first 5000 oil change. The tip on slotted holes for the two rear holes was immensely helpful. Thanks @tennisbp!
I have a pair of race ramps that I drive our vehicles up on to to do the oil changes. Since the filter and drain plug are in the front, I left at least half a quart of...
The original battery on my Escape had an issue. It affected the stop/start function. Ford kept telling me the battery was fine. I replaced it before the car reached 4 years old and everything electronic seemed to work better, including the stop/start.
