My Badlands auto start stop also wasn't working, the dash message always said unavailable due to vehicle charging, it didn't matter how far or long it was driven, even a few runs from California to Arizona. Also had random no start situations, it would start fine and you could drive to the store then come out to leave and it would act the like the battery was dead, you could jump it and it would be fine for a week or two then another random no start. The dash would also display random system errors, it couldn't be trusted. It took 3 visits to the dealer, the last time I said I don't want the vehicle back until its fixed, dealer replaced the battery under warranty, no problems since and as said in my previous post it's been almost 2 years.

I really don’t do a lot of city driving. But isn’t that what the auto-stop start is for? Not being a smart a##, now I’m curious.
No, that is what it is for but I was curious that if there was a repetitive starter draw in the battery and the alternator couldn't keep up if it might contribute to the issue.

I have not had any electrical issues including auto start stop not working after my battery was replaced almost 2 years ago. Auto start stop works so well I sometimes have to look at the tach to see that the engine has actually shut off, it's been that transparent.

Auto stop/start is unnecessary strain on the battery, starter, alternator etc simple as that. Sure don't miss the hassle of it on the baby Bronco or the Subaru Outback. Get the eliminator - worth every penny.........

Don't need the eliminator, I can just disable the auto start/stop by pressing the button. I like the option of turning it off when I off road and I let it do it's thing when on road, it's not a big deal.

To many electrical things on these newer cars to go wrong or draw power from the battery when not running. For example the cooling fans in the LED headlights. How long do they run after you shut the vehicle off?I know when i had my hood open the fans in the headlights were running the entire time the hood was open. After the hood was closed they stopped running maybe a minute later IIRC.I actually started a thread on here about the fans in the LED Headlights.FWIW though i love the LED Headlights they're very bright at night.

Total electrical power failure on my 2021 BB with 23700 miles. Everything died in the middle of traffic, not even emergency flashers worked. An off duty cop in his personal vehicle pulled up behind me and blocked traffic until a patrol car and tow truck got there is a steak dinner for him and his family waiting at Texas Roadhouse, awesome guy.. The local dealer said that ford was aware of the problem but there’s no real fix for it. Sounds like their go-to for everything bronco sport.
If possible, I would like to assist with your power failure issue. Can you please send over a message with your VIN and estimated mileage so I can start looking into this on my end?

Update: the dealer diagnosed with low voltage faults. Reprogrammed the PCM and replaced the battery. So far do good. I now turn off auto start-stop as soon as I start it.
