I just posted this in the sponsors marketplace, but I'll repeat it here as well:
Just received my JCR CAT skid yesterday (thank you!) and installed it today. A couple of minor issues to report. None of the Nut Tabs had the nuts captivated (which sort of defeats the purpose of them). I had to superglue the nuts to the tabs and luckily it held well enough during the installation. I also received eleven 5/16-18 nuts and one 1/4" nut, necessitating a trip to the hardware store for another 5/16" nut. I also didn't receive any washers for the bolts on the two front holes and two rear bracket holes. The bolt heads are smaller than the slot holes in those locations, so washers are required. It seems like there would be enough wiggle room to have those particular slots narrower with everything loose prior to tightening things down. Overall, I'm happy with the purchase. Cheers!
Any chance you have pictures of it installed? I find this interesting.

There’s lots of pics and a YouTube video:
Catalytic Converter Skid 1st Gen (21+)
SKU: BSSD-CAT-1G

https://www.jcroffroad.com/product/BSSD-CAT-1G.html

Bronco Sport has at least 2 catalytic converters:

Primary catalytic converter is on the Turbo downtube followed by a secondary catalytic converter located under “metal” covering on badlands model (the JCR cat skid plate goes over the secondary catalytic converter).

(Note: Removing the primary cat on the Turbo downtube requires skid plate/bash plate to be dropped; not sure if this is 2.0L Engine only)

I just finished installing mine. I'll echo @cprcubed's complaints, but at least I received all of the fasteners, and I had some suitable washers in my stash. Also, what's with the imperial fasteners? This is 2023, everything else on the vehicle is metric. I have a whole set of metric hex impact bits but here I am turning the screws with a cheap 3/16" allen key like it's Ikea. Sorry, crawling under cars makes me grumpy, why any thief would choose it as a career path is baffling to me.

I mounted all of the brackets to the inside of the skid, whereas he puts them on the outside in the video. Looks a bit cleaner IMO and everything still lined up OK.

If they can get their fastener issues sorted out, I'd give it 5 stars.

I dunno, seems like a good antitheft strategy.

I know it has been 15 months, but was this a straight bolt on? No modifications necessary for a Badlands?
Thanks!
