"Wireless charing active" on repeat

Hello - I have a 2022 Bronco Sport Outer Banks.
More often than not when I place my cell phone on the wireless charging pad it repeatedly displays "Wireless charging active" on the screen every 8-10 seconds. The charging also doesn't stay active on the phone. Has anyone experienced this before?

Mine's a Google Pixel 6 but perhaps the same issue applies. I've tried it without any case too.
Do you understand this to be a fix from the dealer?

I can say that I had the TSB done and it fixed the problem. I have an I phone 14 ProMax.

I don't know if an Android phone will have the same results. The TSB says it's specifically for I phones.

Does your phone have a camera bump on the back which prevents it from laying completely flat? If so that could be the problem. I got a new case for my iPhone that creates a completely flat surface on the back and it fixed the problem you are describing for me. But my iPhone is getting very hot when I leave it in the pad for more than 10 minutes.

If you have a ‘21 or ‘22 have you tried to get your dealership to install TSB 22-2485? I don’t know if that TSB will eventually apply to ‘23s.

I have a 2023. But when I go in for my first oil change I plan to ask them about it just in case they would do it and see if it makes it better.

I also have charging issues on my 2023. Intermittent charging, phone gets a bit warm as well.

Fortunately I have yet to run into a situation where the charging pad issue has been a problem and can always use a plug in cord however, it would be nice to know that the charging pad works as advertised, for when it will be needed.
