prices just keep climbing, and im sure sooner rather than later they will take a huge hike up due to the UAW strike/deal....
i would have never thought about seeing the mustang hit $100k but they are... (even F-150's are getting close to that) too rich for my blood....i have voiced my displeasure about the $100k mark on the mustang sites and you would think that i just crapped on the mustang! someone out there is willing to throw money down just to have the latest & greatest and to say they have it....so yea, if they make a BS Raptor for $65k someone will buy it.....

in my mind i envision something that looks like a monster truck.... size and proportion depending on what tire size you go with.... 37's on a BS?? wow what would that look like?? 42's ?? insane!

Which is another way of saying if consumers want something someone will make it.
P.T. Barnum comes to mind once again

To be clear, I'm not saying I think Ford will produce a Bronco Sport Raptor, mainly because I don't know what Ford knows. I DO, however, think that if Ford's market research shows it can make money by producing one it will.

But, I wouldn’t put it past them. could you image. A $50K+ Bronco Sport?
A fully optioned '24 Badlands has a MSRP of 47k so after title taxes tags pretty much 50k if you get it for sticker price. Taxes vary state to state.

Can the 2.3L fit in our engine bays?
The 2.3 is a 2.0 with a longer stroke crankshaft. So the two engines are an identical size externally. Its very common to take a 2.0 block put in a 2.3 crankshaft to make it a 2.3. Ppl with Focus ST have been building 2.3s using 2.0 blocks for many years now.

It would matter what "Raptot" izing the BS would entail. Would it be cosmetic, like a graphics package, special wheels, goofy running lights and some interior plaque or something more serious based on a highly modified or new chassis.
It was hard enough to believe the Heritage package added 10k to the price of a Badlands for something that has absolutely no ties to the original Bronco.
Even harder to imagine what the cost would be for BS Raptor.

Which means our stock block & head (I didn't include tranny) can handle the 350/350 of the Focus RS?

ok. so a 65K+ Subcompact, unibody . Insanely, people will buy it.

my point is, this thing is barely worth what I paid.

I would hope that Ford would realize that the Raptor nameplate indicates something of performance and power.

I don't really want a faster Bronco Sport. Cars are already way too big and way too powerful. I'd like this vehicle to remain utilitarian and practical.

Yeah pretty much. But Ford saw dealers charging over sticker and ppl paying it so hey raise sticker price profits go to Ford instead of dealer. Genius.
