Another worst. Nudge bars. With lights they are even worse. It’s not like they protect a BS from anything other than a small animal.

My dad is an electrician, he's got an awesome set of tools?. If you know you know. This can be buffed out.
I thought the only purpose of some of the nudge bars is just to hold light.Another worst. Nudge bars. With lights they are even worse. It’s not like they protect a BS from anything other than a small animal.
Agreed. I just want to be able to save my self. My basic uneducated knowledge and research says it should be doable. It seems to mostly be the ECM location and not being able to move it is what prevents aftermarket bumpers. I think I may be making a mountain out of the mole hill.Maybe. If the frame will take the weight and winch pull. I no experience with BS doing some thing like that. Super Duties, that’s another story.
There was someone here that posted a winch that is portable. By that, I mean it isn't fastened to the vehicle. This seems very practical as you can easily pull it out, attach to a tow hook (front or back) and pull yourself out of whatever situation you have put yourself in. Then just put it back inside for the next time you screw up.Agreed. I just want to be able to save my self. My basic uneducated knowledge and research says it should be doable. Thanks for reminding me of something I saw a while back. https://www.superwinch.com/en/products/superwinch/winch2go-12v-4000-lb-synthetic-rope-portable-utility-winch-1140232?srsltid=AfAwrE6qpHcmxeev_68huk08KlyCtGxK8KT3FV0iwBhwPPq5nBdXPax1fkcThere was someone here that posted a winch that is portable. The bumper is designed to absorb impact. I would be skeptical of its suitability for recovery (pulling) loads. Note that the recovery hooks on the Badlands are bolted to the unibody well behind the bumper assembly. That's where I would look to apply recovery loads since that's where the vehicle's engineers intended they go.Does thinking of a Fabrication mod I am considering count? I am thinking of having the front bumper reinforcement bar reinforced and a 2" receiver welded into it.
Hey, now. I like my bug/rock deflector.Hood scoop, Bronco script lettering, adding items with a horsey on it, cat back exhaust, exhaust burble tune, led tail lights, air deflector on hood, Heritage package, Raptor style lights on the grille, turbo blow off valve.
Out of curiosity I came across a set up to bolt to a Maverick for flat towing. I wonder how those forces are dealt with? It was an e trailer set up I think. The bumper is designed to absorb impact. Towing loads are not the same as recovery loads. Towing requires overcoming rolling resistance of the tires only. Recovery loads can be many times the weight of the vehicle.Out of curiosity I came across a set up to bolt to a Maverick for flat towing. I wonder how those forces are dealt with? I second (or third, or forth) the hood scoop add on. Yuck.
BUT, I do like the air deflector on a hood. We (in Florida) are closing in on our May love bug arrival. These nasty bugs adhere to the front and windshield. You have to wash the vehicle every day, or these bugs will eat into the paint.
I think that the AVS textured hood deflector looks great, as well as being very effectiveI second (or third, or forth) the hood scoop add on. Yuck.
