My faith in Ford and my car is really low right now. I'll continue to drive it for a while but I'm leaning towards trading it for another vehicle (not a Ford!) prior to the warranty period expiring in 7 months. Driving my car now is unsettling wondering what will happen next.
Actually I was recently informed by Ford of Canada that rustproofing is not required and any damage to rubber hoses, sensors, etc as a result of contact with oil spray would not be covered by warranty
Has anyone had any problems after having their Bronco Sport rust proofed (oil sprayed)?
Were they able to spray behind the chassis soundproofing panels ok?

I also have the same deflector and have no problems. I think your dealer doesn’t have a clue and is grasping for straws here. Maybe it’s time to look for a more competent dealer.
Try turning the two black rubber hood bumpers out a half a turn or so.
Also if you have side seals on the hood, try putting the 1/4” hose in them as well
I am one of the individuals who has proven that the 1/4” fuel line hose solved the problem with hood vibration even with the Aeroskin textured hood deflector.
PS I also have the Aeroskin textured hood deflector and no vibration at all. Today I will also be installing a set of RERPRO hood struts which should add to hood stability.
