Just spent 4.5 hours giving it a very detailed wash and wax. Wanted to be thorough since our new home doesn't have a garage and it's living outside 24/7 now. It's very very shiny. Tomorrow, I do the interior!

Also got my first oil change today at 5k miles.

Added a little flair to Juice today. Got the obligatory fender script badges and horsey on the tailgate. Also replaced the valve stem covers thanks to the idea from another forum member. Going by local Ford dealer tomorrow to order a Aeroskin II.

Today was "paint the tow hooks" day.
They need a little more touch-up, but way better than black.

Looks good! Nice job working around the bar
It was a little scary, to say the least. Red spray paint wouldn't be very forgiving.
I really wanted to get them powder coated, but that would be a huge pain and expense. A $10 can of paint did the trick for now.

Do you plan on getting a spoiler? I’m curious how they’ll look on the white BSs. I was considering the grey one to match the grill… at least I think it should.

Back again from a bit of hiatus.

Really haven't been doing a whole lot with our Badlands other than enjoying it.

But one thing that I have been contemplating was installing JcrOffroad's Catalytic Converter Skid Plate as between wanting to get out onto more of the trails around Big Sur and the Central Coast as well as (sadly) cat theft definitely being a thing around here, it was next on my wish list of mods.

Ordered it when it went on sale (and I believe it still is), took about a month to get. Installation is definitely doable in a driveway or garage.

For those of you who've installed the Aeorskin II, I've read that it causes a lot of wind noise and the hood rattles at highway speeds. What's your opinion on it? I bought one (not installed yet) and I'm now rethinking the decision.
I have heard the same thing. Wind noise at over 75 mph and hood vibrating. I think I will hold off as I do freeway driving. Try not tailgating and the problem with stone will not happen. 3500 freeway miles and my windshield is perfect.

I went with a lower profile deflector that I’m happy with. I’m in Houston with tons of traffic and lots of big rigs, don’t have to be tailgating to get window chips on the highways here especially on the industrial side of town. It’s pretty much inevitable to get one at some point but luckily thus far I’ve not gotten any.

Do you have the 360+? Looking down the road, would love to throw a nudge bar and lights up there, but thinking through how to do it without blocking the sensors.
I have the RC nudge bar and their lights on my 2023 BL and it doesn't effect the 360+ at all! Works perfectly. I was ready to have to do some mods to move the lights over some, but didn't have to. :)

I went with the aeroskin II due to the pesky love bug seasons (April/September) we have in Florida. The slight bump in the deflector help in keeping them off of the windshield, although we won't drive it much during those two months; we will drive the good old F150 and wash it daily.

I may on down the road. I haven't really given it much thought. The main things I'm currently looking to add is the bug deflecter and cross bars.
