They did! $4k under MSRP for a fully loaded BS BL. Plus I look forward to the road trip. I lived outside of Des Moines for a few years as a kid and want to see how the area has changed. Going to hit some “classic” road side attractions on the way back too (farm that was “attacked” by aliens in the 60’s, Captain Kirk’s birth place, etc.)
Almost makes me want to cancel my order and call them. I am in the Chicagoland area. Wish I knew this sooner.

Granger is very well known on the 6G forum. They have helped many people even if they didn’t buy from them.

Granger was great. I took the trip from NY to Iowa, (got stuck in St Louis….FYI if you miss your connection the next flight isn’t until veryyyyy late, or you can do as I did and rent a car and drive from St Louis to Iowa)

MSRP, 42k+ on a Badlands
Sale price after discount and rebate $34,500!!!

Absolutely no games at all once I got there. I signed, went over a few things with the car so I was familiar and drove off. No last attempt hard sell on extras, I signed a piece of paper and was out. Everything went exactly as they stated, the only thing that was a hurdle was that I had to get the lien on the car with my credit union on my own. They wouldn’t do the lien on it at the time of sale.

Couple of nights in a hotel, three day trip right? Food and gas.
I hope they took at least double that off MSRP.
King Ford, my Ford dealer is fifteen minutes away and about 125 miles from Atlanta. They have never charged above MSRP on any thing.
Just sayin….
Good points... food, gas, hotel. And don't forget that 2000 miles of driving. You are sacrificing part of the vehicle's life, and you can put a number on that, such as... Roughly... pick a life of 100,000 miles and a $40,000 vehicle price. So 2 percent 2000 miles) of that $40,000 is $800!

That is a great price! Must have been one of the last '22's to come out of production. I ordered a '23 through Granger that is expected to arrive between Jan. 1 - 7th. I would have been happy with it being a '22 for what you paid!

There is definitely a cost associated with a long roadtrip to pick up a new car. In my case, I see it as a perfect excuse for a quick getaway/roadtrip with my wife, which would be worth it under any circumstances with or without coming home with a new car.

I picked mine up in August.

Cost about .25 a mile to drive thecar back to NY. I figured it cost me $325.

food I kept it light. Some coffees and a few egg McMuffins. My sister lives about the halfway point so I stayed with her and I think my flight to Iowa cost me $200ish one way.

I wasn’t getting this price or close to that anywhere and i got to see some cool stuff along the way.

A bit less. Vehicle should have greater than $0 value at 100k.

Good point and of course it does. But my brief example was about a "perhaps normal" ownership of 100K. And when selling used vehicles with over 100K, 2000 miles one way or the other makes practically no difference in resale value.

I agree. I'm trying to keep my '14 Escape under 100k waiting for my wife's BS BL. I have it in my mind that the algorithm online sites, Carvana, etc., use to estimate a value ding you at 100k. Sold my wife's '12 Escape to Carvana at 99,691.5 miles. :D

Just ordered rear pads and rotors for the '14 Escape this morning. Was hoping not to do them again, but it's at spec. Oh well.

It's pretty hard to beat the Granger price and experience IMO. Fortunately, I'm in the next state over so it was pretty easy. I've also have a 2 door reserved with them since 2020. People wonder why I don't switch to a high volume dealer to get it sooner. No thanks. I'll stick with Granger. Plus FORD wont let you switch dealers with your existing order.

Just another Granger praise check in here. Flew in one way from Denver, stayed one night near the airport. Luckily I have miles/points to cover those for even more 'savings' (Airfare + hotel was probably about $300 if I used cash). Was able to complete all paperwork and payments digitally from the hotel that night. Picked up from there and out of Granger's door in about 20 minutes. Drove home leisurely that day, 680 miles. So, 2 tanks of gas.

Saved about $5k from what I could get at a local dealer, more if you account for the price increase that came after my order. Also was able to wrap in the warranty deal all in one go. Easy choice. And I'd do it again in a heartbeat.

Plus, you got a nice leisurely drive to get to know your new car. I wouldn't hesitate to purchase long-distance if the price were right.

have a '23 BS BB and a '23 Mav hybrid on order with them. The Mav was ordered 1/2022 and was rolled over to a '23.

If they come together, I'll hire a transporter to bring them to CA. Otherwise, a couple mini vacations for the wife and I.

BS BB savings from MSRP a little less than $2k; Mav savings from MSRP $3k. But here in CA the ADM's on these vehicles are in the thousands. I figure $10-15k savings overall. We pay sales tax on ADM's also, an additional 9%.

The BB I ordered with CP360+. I looked hard to find it on anything in a local dealer, nothing. So given I had to order, plus hoping the recall issues are sorted, it made sense to go with Granger.
