Hi. My car is brand new, less than 2000 miles ....

I have "crec crec crec" (how do you call these sounds in US? Here in Brazil we use to say that we have "crickets" hidden in the car)...

in the dash
in the sunroof
in the B column close to my ear
in the trunk

In the U.S. we would call those creaks or squeaks.

I have a 2021 OB. First 6 months I heard a lot of these noises all over, dash, pillars, etc. Now with 24,000 miles I hear nothing. Things seemed to have settled in nicely. I was worried at first as well.

If I hear that many noises when I test drive my Badlands I’ll give them a week to fix it before I walk.

New BL here and I also hear em everywhere. Mainly in pillars and under dash where the passenger side panel would normally go.

I had the sunroof rattle fixed. Now still have the constant creaking/rattle sound in front dash and a pillar. Buzzing from speakers and a squeak in the rear area somewhere. Drove one of fords badlands all day at the off rodeo and it had no rattles/creaks/squeaks or speakers buzzing. Felt solid. My interior creaks like an old ship if it’s flexed off-road. Ford isn’t much help. You’ll have to fix yourself.

22 Badlands, generally quite as can be while driving. This does not include all the strange noises when opening the door or when starting, backing up, and shutting off. While driving, quite as can be except for that occasional “wop, wop, wop” from the high speed and wind coming from the felt liner under the driver.

mine has had several, pops, whines, and clicks. I’m at 8000 miles now and most are gone. Even the brake squeaks everyone talks about although I expect that will return. Give it time and it will settle down…also, you’ll settle down too.

My VW was like this. My wife got so spooked by it she wouldn’t drive it. I still have it 16 years later….it’s fine.

Mine was silent when I took the 45 minute drive before buying. After 800 miles or so heard rattle in head liner usually when first driven then would go away. I think I heard Park Release Cable noise was there for a while. One time it went grrr grrr grrr across a parking lot once. But last several months now at 6,000 miles seems to be silent quiet and silky smooth no noises at all.

So if you have a new one make sure tire pressure is correct get some miles on it see what shakes out.

22 BL with about 2500 miles. Backseat passenger side somewhere it has a creak that comes and goes. When it's there it's annoying though. Hopefully it'll work itself out or I guess I'll see if they can check when I take it in for an oil change.
