I'm pretty happy with the build quality for the most part, but there are a couple of things that bug me.

One is the very thin aluminum hood, when going through a car wash it sounds like it's going to come flying off.

The other thing is when I get above 40mph with my two front windows down I hear a loud noise that sounds like something in the rear is catching getting blown around. This has happened ever since driving the car off the lot with nothing else in the vehicle. Sometimes I hear it, sometimes I don't, but because I'm the one driving, I haven't been able to pinpoint where it's coming from.
Excessive turbulence and/or booming noises are common until finding a convenient/effective way to vent the cabin and equalize pressures -- like cracking open an additional window or the sunroof. May or not be what's happening for you, but I'd experiment.

One way to possibly address hood issue is applying dynamat-like material to its underside (have used product called RattleTrap)... Plan to do this as soon as hood insulators are back in inventory (will post pictures in thread on sound insulating BS).

I'm very satisfied, but:

1. Easily scratched plastic interior.
2. The piano black plastic trim pieces on the exterior window pillars, which easily get small swirl scratches despite using the softest of towels.
3. Mine came with a defect in the zippered pocket on the back of the driver's seat. It was not fully sewn at the bottom so stuff fell through. Reported to dealer and fixed straight away, without cost or headaches.

How would you rate the fit and finish of your Bronco Sport?

Other than the deleted/missing items, do you feel Ford did a good job assembling it?

For people who own or have owned other Fords in the past, do you think Ford’s quality has improved?
9,000 miles and we are pleased with the fit & finish of our O.B.

I don't think that's what it is because I've heard it with the back seats down and with a dog car seat cover on the back seat.

Actually its pretty good. A few issues, mainly the issue of poor material plastics. Definitely a lot better than my 2020 Ford Escape Titanium.

When is Ford going to finally upgrade the plastics in all their cars. Its no better than it was from the early 2000s. It scratches so easily even with a finger nail. The plastics in my BMWs were very durable and very hard to scratch.
