Took me a long time to find a cost effective camera that had good dual 1080p front/rear. So ended up with the Best Buy INSIGNIA dual front/rear dashcam for ~$99. Sadly they don’t sell it anymore as it was discontinued. But quality was very good as you can see in these before and after frames...
luckily no injuries, but the little old lady that hit me claimed that I backed up into her at 30+mph in reverse from the stoplight 🤣. Lucky I had my dashcam to show the police and insurance what actually happened . 100% recommend everyone get one
Thanks, got the Ranger for sticker ~42K, but dealer upgraded wheels and added 2" leveling kit up front and got that those upgrades for an additional 2K. Of course after GAP, insurance and taxes you can imagine how much more it went up from there.
Bronco Sport did excellent in the accident and did not look too bad from the outside, however as the collision center looked under the bumper, the damage traveled up past the rear doors and repair estimate went from 8K to 19K, which easily put it over the 50% of the vehicle value needed to call...
Its been a few long months dealing with insurance and they've finally agreed to total it after I was rear ended at a stoplight by a 2000 Nissan Pathfinder.
I went looking at new big Broncos however dealer markup is still ridiculous in Arizona so I ended up with my new whip, 2023 Ranger FX4...
I had to do a double take because that first picture looked an awful lot like my SE AZ town, but it was not right since our Ford dealer doesn't face the mountains like that.
Love my BigBend BS, kept pace with friend’s Wrangler Rubicon 4xe, they made it look easy but I was still able to make it to the top of the pass with having to pick my lines much more carefully due to less ground clearance
Worst for me is the badly designed sun visors that don’t fold forward to the proper distance to the windshield. ?
At fully extended, it covers up way too much of my view and if it could rotate just a few degrees more it would be perfect or at least good enough.
Honestly I’ve been on the hunt for years for what I would consider a replacement for my XB when that day comes, and the Sport is actually pretty damn close. My XB is a manual and I do miss that in the Sport, but adaptive cruise and all the other amenities are damn nice.
Great point, but in AZ rock chips and cracked windows are a way of life Drafting or not. But yes the risk of it happening more often is there especially for trucks without flaps
