I love my BS BL but it bugs me that the headlight status indicators are all over the dash. It seems that there is plenty of space for more sensible placement.

Also the auto high beam dimmer only works a little bit better than the 1978 Lincoln Mark V I used to have (hardly ever) and someone eventually suffers the wrath of my hi beams.

My last petty dislike is that the hi beam activation lever doesn't stay in place when the hi beams are on. It's so much easier to tell if they're on if the lever stays in the forward position.

Sometimes I wish I had the old floor dimmer switch

I've used a small caribener for years. Clips fo belt loops or even waist bands on shorts. Haven't had issues since. We had a fire at work over a decade ago, left my keys on my desk...haven't done it since then? bigger pain than you'd guess.
Janitor mode engaged! :giggle:

Only complaint so far is the lack of control on the electric seat base angle. I´l tall and would be very usefull if I could lift the front end of the seat base. Rather than that, loving the car (only 35 miles riden on it  )

If you turn it off every time your mileage will suffer.
Prices of gas aside, If you buy a 4x4 or AWD and are concerned with fuel mileage ... maybe you should have purchased a different vehicle. ( I just dumped my 10 y/o honda with awesome mpg so I could have 4x4 and I'm a cheap ass)

Honestly, the most I hate about it is car culture itself. Any time I try to talk about the bs online or off, queue the deluge of certified cool guys "That's just an Escape! How pissed were you when the full size Bronco came out? GIIIRRRLLLSS CAAAAARRR" I swear, car enthusiasts are the most insufferable subculture of them all; no matter what car you have, a big chunk of people are going to viciously hate on it. At leasts nerds and gun nuts can be civil some of the time lol
I am a nerdy gun nut...so.......................

Not necessarily, I had a Hybrid Rav 4 AWD that got 40+ in town.

Working from home cancelled most of my concerns over mpg and I traded it for a 4Runner.

Just got my BS Badlands, will post pics up later. Its the Red Hot Chilli fully loaded with the Falken 235/65/17's.

So far what I don't like

1. No memory for the seats, the Escape had them.

2. No power lift gate

3. The rear window defroster, the way the wires are held in there with the shitty solder job makes me feel like this is going to break in a few years.

The shifter use to bother me, but after having a 2020 FE I am ok with it now.

I've had my OB for 6 months now, There were two things right out of the gate I changed. I installed gas struts for the hood. The prop screamed 70s and seemed too retro as well as being more like a base model option, The OB should have had them as a standard option. The second thing was the exhaust. I've never had a 3 cylinder but hearing all the engine noises, and we all know how many distinct noise it makes was too distracting. I installed a Cat Back system and I have to say it sounds good. Bye to the menagerie of engine noises as they are cancelled out by the low growl of the exhaust. I know there are forum bashers out there thinking about commenting but hold your horses. I'm a old school V8 guy, headers, cross overs, glass packs, u name it. Not only does it sound better than I ever imagined a 3 cylinder could, I lost twenty lbs and gained some mpg. Lastly someone mentioned the FOB, I agree it is really a pocketful, could be thinner. A minor issue really. All in all I like my OB, might not be a CUV for the masses but for a Ford guy like me, it's awesome.

We would agree with these two also, but the lift gate isn't as bad as the memory seats.
