So this morning our Bronco won’t start, has a blinking start light and the screen and dash lights are out. Started for a second then shut back off. Read somewhere to pull the positive battery cable to reset. I’ll try that and see what happens. Wondering if anyone else has had the issue and what the permanent fix is.

FYI, take off the negative side. Taking off the positive first is an easy way to cause a short since the entire frame is negative grounded. You'll get the same result; a computer reset.
Thanks, I was thinking the negative would be the way to go as well. But was in a hurry and just did what I read worked. Hopefully it doesn’t come back but if it does the net will come off

Yes I have and after a complete electrical diagnostic, it was found to have a faulty relay switch. I’ll keep You posted but headed for replacement next week…ugh

You have a 'start' light?

Battery was dead and clicking even once recharged on my 2021 Big Bend. Saw this thread and after reset (removed negative terminal and waited a couple of minutes and reconnected) reset worked like a charm.

21’s had a green light on start button, think it was deleted on 22’s and later
