The front windshield wiper stopped working today. The rear wiper still works fine. The washer fluid will still spray on, but the wipers simply won't turn. Not good as we start the rainy season in Miami.

I inspected the fuse and it looked fine. I swapped it anyhow. Still doesn't work.

I unplugged the battery to reset settings. No change.

Any other quick fixes ya'll can think of before I take it back to the dealer?

Hi there! If you'd like to, go ahead and send us a private message with your VIN and the name and location of your Ford dealer, and I’ll look into this wiper concern. Thanks!

July 3, 2023 through July 17, 2023 US population of affected vehicles: 36,653. Affected vehicles are identified in OASIS and FSA VIN Lists.
REASON FOR THIS SAFETY RECALL
In some of the affected vehicles, the windshield wiper motor may be missing sealer between the gear cover and gear housing, allowing water to intrude into the wiper motor. The missing sealer may cause the windshield wipers to become inoperable. Inoperable windshield wipers may cause reduced visibility or loss of visibility in certain conditions, increasing the risk of a crash.

There is a Ford Technician in the Facebook group who works solely on Bronco Sports at his dealership and he has been on top of a lot of these things. He posted the advanced notice of the wiper motor earlier today. Quite the timing

Yep the Ford Tech does provide good information and often provides early access to info and also he will provide answers to issues an owner is having … he also mods his Bronco Sport so has good knowledge with certain mods

(With his ok I have re-posted his findings onto Bronco Sport Forum)

In the case of the 2023 wiper motor issue, another owner reported this a day earlier because the issue happened to them and I re-posted that yesterday here:

Invite him to join here; some of us prefer not to use Facebook.

According to the Ford App, my BS/BL is subject to this recall. However is says, "remedy not yet available".

I brought my 2023 BS BL in for the works oil change.
I was notified my the service writer that my vehicle has a recall. I had no idea.
It’s the wiper motor recall. I’ve been here at the Ford service center 3 hours and still waiting.
It must take a long time to inspect the wiper motor recall. ?‍♂
