For those of you who had a replacement windshield was the part made by Ford or third party?

Safelite replaced my windshield. The "pre-collision alert" and the "front camera not available" messages started to come on a few days later and they now come on every time I turn on the Bronco Sport. Brought it to Las Vegas Ford dealer, Team Ford, today and they said they could not fix it. They said they tried to recalibrate but it didn't work and that maybe it was the glue to affix the windshield causing the issue. ???

They suggested I call Safelite and have them re-adjust, re-glue or re-calibrate. ??? I am waiting for a call back from Safelite, as the windshield has its own warranty. However, I was surprised Ford dealer couldn't fix. They say they get vendors for windshields. Has anyone else heard that dealers can't fix windshields and this problem? I still have the "pre-collision alert" and the "front camera not available" messages coming on...hopefully, Safelite will correct this, but that remains to be seen. If not, back to Ford I go, right?! Thanks for any insights.
I think it is pretty common for Ford dealers to have a local company come in and replace the glass. It’s better that way, they companies have a lot more experience replacing glass than any tech at a Ford dealer ever would. Plus they have specialized tools and equipment that most dealers would never invest in.

I am new to Ford. Luckily, I haven't had to replace a windshield in over a decade, let alone one with sensors and cameras attached! Thank you for that info.
It’s really probably all/most dealers, not just Ford dealers.

Just had my windshield replaced with OEM, and it appears they didn't re-install the wipers correctly as they are sitting much higher and run off the windshield when activated. Back too the shop tomorrow to have them fix the issue.

Anyone care the snap a quick pic of their wipers when at rest. I can't remember how low they are supposed to sit.

Oh, and yes, I needed a recalibration which apparently requires them to drive the vehicle for a few miles. I watched from the Ford Pass app as my baby left the shop and made a trip around the area and back. :)

I'm having my windshield and grill replaced tomorrow after some debris damaged/cracked both of them. Insurance company is telling me recalibrating the cameras is not needed. Is this correct? I can't find anything that states it's necessary in the owners manual or elsewhere.

For those of you that had your windshield replaced did the Camera get calibrated?
In Safelight commercials they say that, in addition to windshield replacement, they recalibrate your camera so I assume there is a need for camera recalibration.

My wipers sit below aft edge of the hood.
