I tried but no luck
They don't want us knowing too much. ;)

The verbiage is very specific; they don't say what they won't do, just that if it's not listed in the WSM, it won't be warrantable. Still, finding a Ford Service Dept. that would do it is unlikely.

Also, the implication is that if you do it yourself, or even have a qualified shop do it, you're SOL on the warrantee in the event of a failure.

Well, it looks like at least they'll update tire sizes for ya'.

I'd love to get my hands on that WSM.
Found the way to correct my speedo error was to put on the 235/70’s — now when I check it’s reading “dead on” at 45-55mph. Don’t know why, just is, and maybe only on my Sport.

I heard you, you don't wanna do it yourself, but FORscan is a very friendly software, you can always watch youtube to follow the instructions
I had just seen a fewposts that scared me off from doing it myself, stating that you could really mess up your Bronco if you didn't know what you were doing with Forscan. Plus I was also concerned about the info that was saying that you had to buy a license to use it etc

Neither of those should be a concern.

On the first connection, save the existing configuration as an As-Built. Only change one value at a time and test for performance and errors.

If anything goes sideways, load the saved configuration back in and you’re back to stock as if nothing had changed.

ALL software is licensed by the developer. If you bought a copy of Windows, you just purchased a software license from Microsoft. Don’t overthink it.

A first timer that’s already stated they are unsure and are ‘scared off’ is a clue that these two steps would need to be broken out with clear directions and screenshots. I’ve done these steps myself like you but some need more handholding to build up their skills. Most of the instructions I’ve seen as well as YouTube videos, screenshots etc are kinda a joke for some people to use as some will need more. It’s not brain surgery after all

To be clear, I didn't intend my comment to be any sort of instruction or presumption of their abilities, more of a conceptual overview of a process that, while there is some risk involved, isn't overly complicated when you get down to it.

One still has to learn the basics of any software (or any other tool or process) before they can be competent and confident in its use. Which is probably why I still suck at Fusion 360.

Totally agree with you … except for the Fusion 360 as I have no knowledge of your skills there, Autodesk makes some quality tools. Are you using it for work or home 3D printing?

Like many things practice makes perfect or less chance of bricking a module like some have done

My gf somehow found a way last night to totally destroy the Boot Configuration Data (BCD) on her laptop. Hadn’t run into that one before but after some digging I recreated everything and found out how to kill a stuck windows 11 update and get it going again. It was a late night but all in order again.

360’s just for personal use. If it were work-related I’d probably be fired by now.

Hats off to the gf, that takes some effort! :D
