My dealer called me Thursday. On that day my order was in town at the railyard!!! He told me it would take 3 or 4 days for checks and prep work. Because of the holiday, I'm hoping I'll hear from him again Tuesday or Wednesday. I can hardly wait!!!

Update 1/3/23: I am still waiting. The car did not get to dealership within 3 to 4 days after the 22nd As the dealer told me to expect on his phone call that Thursday. The shipping notice email I got from Ford on the 12 said the eta to the dealership would be Dec 28 to jan 3. I talked to my dealer again today, and had him track it again. He sent me a screen shot that it is at the railyard in town and has been since the 23rd.. the dealership had no control over the truckers and delivery from there. The screen shot he sent shows an eta to the dealer of Jan 1 (obviously that didn't happen) to Saturday 7th. If it doesn't come in Saturday, i am seriously thinking of looking at buying another car. I currently have a very good purchase offer on my current car from car max that I don't want to lose, and it expires Monday 9th. I already feel lucky that I had to have it reappraised from when I had it done the first time when I expected the bronco sport to arrive from the railyard. This isn't Ford's fault at this point. But it's frustrating and disheartening, and in a way makes me wonder if this car is always going to be slightly not perfect and leaves me wanting.

My BSBL is at Granger. Booked tickets up to Des Moines for next Friday to pick it up. Not sure if it’s unlucky to get my car on Friday the 13th but that’s the way the ball bounced. Wish me luck!!

Got email from my dealer that my 2023 Badlands has arrived at the dealer today.
