Wheel/tire advice after 1.5” sst lift

The lift kit does not allow for a bigger tire. Ford offers a tire as an OEM upgrade the same diameter and width as the 235/60/R18 that you are looking at. Obviously, if it is the same size as something Ford offers, it will work without issue. The 245/60/18 is also a safe size, based on the results of lots of people here with the same diameter tire.

I’m very pleased with the outcome. To clarify, I had the rough country 1.5” strut lift kit installed (the one that costs $600, not a spacer kit). The 235/65/18 Toyo Open Country tires look and drive great. Seems to have ample clearance so I have no concerns there.

That is great and your BS/OB is very sharp looking That was going to be the lift kit that was going to get put on mine but their now saying it will not work on the BS/BL Now I'm just trying to find some nice wheels and tires

unfortunate this kit doesn’t work for your BL. So far it performs well, and thanks to Tarrant County Lift & Repair for doing a professional installation! So with the lift and tires I’m 2.2” taller overall and it is definitely noticeable while driving (in a good way). Drove it about 150 miles today around the Red River Valley area in windy / hilly conditions and the handling was excellent.

Looks great. I have the same vehicle on order, color and all. I don't love the rims, but they do look less like crap with the nicer tires you put on there. Big difference.

What hard is I'm trying to see what the wheels would look like with my Eruption Green color and it's not even on anyone's or Discount Tire web site ? ?

Looks great. I have the same vehicle on order, color and all. I don't love the rims, but they do look less like crap with the nicer tires you put on there. Big difference.

Thank you and I agree about the wheels. I am looking at replacing those next, maybe Black Rhino Arches, just not a huge selection in this size.

yes, went from 225/60/18 to 235/65/18. Diameter of tire is 30”. Handling is great, in fact handling improved noticeably with these tires compared to running the 225’s after the 1.5” lift.

That's good to know. I called Discount Tire today and the guy said that I could go all they way
up to a "20" but I don't want to go that big Bigger is not always better

Have a look at Bronco Tire/Rim/Lift Modifier
You can enter in your Tires/Rim/Lift modifications and see the results. Doesn't determine if it will work, but will let you see how the mods affects the look. Let me know if this helps you get started.
