Well...I was told rodent damage to fuel injector harness. $821 plus tax, so I approved the part order. Part should be available 2/12. I still have the loaner, and they said just bring it back if I hit 2K miles then they'll put me in a different one.
Like I said already, I had the vehicle in...
Trying to be as positive as possible :). REALLY hoping it's just the injectors, and I can get it back relatively soon. I fear for others who encounter this and possibly they aren't as "lucky" as I was since it occurred on a Saturday morning at home/close to dealership I purchased from. I...
I have a '22 OB with just under 30K miles (mostly highway). Drain tube installation recall was performed in September '23.
Saturday morning I start the vehicle and it was a rough start and the powertrain light came on and would blink intermittently. Vehicle ran really rough, wouldn't really...
yes, went from 225/60/18 to 235/65/18. Diameter of tire is 30ā. Handling is great, in fact handling improved noticeably with these tires compared to running the 225ās after the 1.5ā lift.
unfortunate this kit doesnāt work for your BL. So far it performs well, and thanks to Tarrant County Lift & Repair for doing a professional installation! So with the lift and tires Iām 2.2ā taller overall and it is definitely noticeable while driving (in a good way). Drove it about 150 miles...
Iām very pleased with the outcome. To clarify, I had the rough country 1.5ā strut lift kit installed (the one that costs $600, not a spacer kit). The 235/65/18 Toyo Open Country tires look and drive great. Seems to have ample clearance so I have no concerns there.
Very helpful comparison tools! I am going with the Toyo AT III 235/65/18. Having these wrapped around the stock rims Friday at my local Ford dealership.
Iāll post some pictures when done.
Also really like the idea of new 18ā wheels with a mix of black/gun barrel color. Probably a a couple...
Thanks all for the feedback.
I drive mostly on paved roads but from time to time I drive on unsaved/gravel trails. I donāt see myself doing any advanced enthusiast trails or rock crawling, etc.
My priorities are ride height, road handling and appearance.
Hello,
wondering what would look best. Currently using stock wheels and Nitto nomad grappler in stock size (225/60/18). I had the 1.5ā RC sst lift installed today so was considering a new tire/wheel combo.
Am thinking 235/65/18 or 245/65/17.
I noticed that thereās way less A/T options...
I really hope that youāre able to get his worked out. Considering the car market right now it makes me especially angry seeing things like this happen. Itās not like there are viable replacements or even parts available for all the repairs.
I had them put on today in stock size 225/60/18. I wanted all-terrain tires and these are eligible for a $75 rebate or 30K ford pass points. I am pleased with them. Havenāt gone off road yet but the on road performance is as I expected.
Used mine today for the first time on my ā22 OB.
It worked perfectly, no issues with the trailer mode or whatever, 33 MPG average from Ft Worth to Hot Springs. Used normal goat mode entire trip. Hardly noticed any difference with handling. Fits perfect in the draft and not even visible from...
