Genuinely curious - not trying to ruffle feathers - why do folks use a phone mount when there's a screen? Why not just plug in for Apple CarPlay or Android Auto?
I'm with you, between Carplay and having an Apple Watch I have no need for a phone mount.

I need a phone holder for watching videos and stuff during lunch (while parked). So, for me one that is easy to install/remove because I only need a couple times a week.

I usually have the map on the screen and Tidal on my phone. And it's just me so using the cup holder is convenient and the phone is easy to reach and use.
Why not just play Tidal on the screen then switch to maps when you need it? Genuinely curious, because my tendency is to throw on a playlist or album and then switch to Google Maps when necessary (especially since it's pretty easy to swap between them with CarPlay).

Car Play for me and my phone in my pocket except for long trips. Then it’s plugged in and in the tray below the screen.

FYI if you're using Android Auto there's an app you can get that let's you watch YouTube on the screen it's called Fermata Auto.
I'll check that out. I typically play movies/shows that I have recorded/downloaded via Xfinity Stream.

I'm with you guys except I don't have the watch. Can't imagine wanting to get a cell phone mount for the Bronco.
Same here. Phone mount is my pocket unless going a long distance. Then it’s either in the spot below the screen or below the climate control panel.

Edit: sorry, I see I said the same thing a month ago. See, I told you all I can’t remember crap!

I have the wireless charging pad, so..... But it doesn't fit there when plugged in for carplay, then it's just in the spot below the display.
