Drove about 20 miles on mountain twisties through a thunderstorm and completely forgot about slippery mode. Didn’t have any problems.

What do you mean by "feels strange"?

What tires do you have and how many miles on them?

My 2021 BL with 16K with crap OEM tires was very squirley. New Nokian AT's solved the problem.

I tried slippery mode a few times during the winter when the roads were snow covered. I didn't care for the lack of throttle response. Personally, I’d just leave it in normal mode.

I think the Falkens have been great in the wet. Both rain and snow without using slippery mode.

I would have someone check your tires and alignment. I’ve got 20k mile on my OEM Falkens, and last weekend I was in very heavy rain and did not experience any traction issues. Same with some light snow driving last winter.

I'm less than 1,000 miles into the new BS, coming from 3 F-150's over the years...all 2 wheel drive. My Sasquatch BS feels like it's glued to the road compared to the slippery F-150's.

Never. Last winter I had Michelin X-Ice tires and used slippery mode only a couple of times. The rest of the year I have Michelin Pilot Sport AS 4 tires and have never felt the need for slippery mode. My Bronco Sport with these tires drives very well in the rain.

Especially the Aluminum Body 2015 and Up F-150's.

It may be me lol. I live in northern bc with lots of twisty roads. I am hoping it’s my lack of experience in a new car. I am use to a 1997 geo tracker tin can. Still not use to the 2022 car

Wet roads are not all the same. There are so many types of road surfaces and drainage situations that exist. Perhaps you encounter some areas that are difficult.

I recall living in PHX and when it rained… the roads were slicker than snot but after a few rains in a short period, the road’s surfaces started to improve. My wifeā€˜s little AWD Rav4 would even start dancing….and it had new Michelins and very little power. I expect this BSBL would’ve lost traction too if I wasn’t careful

I leave in normal. It does fine. I love these Falkens

Just had a downpour in Alberta last weekend and drove through legit flooding on the highway. Kept in normal mode and I was so impressed with how my BL handled. I still have the stock Continental CrossContact ATR tires on, which are not anything amazing but traction was great through the water. Especially coming from my Hyundai Elantra which felt like it was hydroplaning through the smallest of puddles.

Im originally from BC as well but haven’t driven back there yet with my BL. I’m sure I’ll have a chance to experience some wet winding roads on my way home for Christmas but with how it’s handled terrible weather in Alberta so far I’m expecting it will do pretty well.
