Just a friendly reminder to keep checking your coolant levels. Looked at mine this past Saturday and realized I have a leak somewhere. Looks like I'm leaking from the water pump yet again. Going in for my 3rd pump.

They have a new TSB out that directs them to flush the coolant system. Apparently left over gunk can compromise the seal on the new water pump. Hopefully the updated fix is the last one. I just got the new water pump and coolant flush, so we'll see if it holds up.

I wonder what more expensive one they used? I picked up a gallon of pre-mixed coolant. I can't remember if they asked which one I wanted or not but they pulled it by VIN.

Kind of wished the warranty had paid for that. I'll push them to either fix my pump or purchase the next one.

When did you pick up your gallon? When I asked him if they started carrying it for in stock to buy he let me know that they did. Just because I still have a gallon of the "older" version. I'll probably pick up the new one when I go and pick her up and look at the labels if there is anything different. As well a maybe pick up a back up pump. It's not hard to change out

Hi there! Will you send us a message with your VIN and your local Ford dealer? I can look into things on my end.

Hey Ford! Everything is already getting replaced and at the dealer! Just got the phone call that it was done! I can absolutely respect you for going through these forums and contacting people! If you'd still like me to contact you even though the repair is completed for what ever reason please let me know! I just posted this just as a reminder to check stuff every so often!

Well, because of this post I looked under the hood and I saw my coolant was below MIN. I do my own oil changes and three weeks ago it was just fine. UGH! She is at 30,900 miles 2022 BB and I took her straight to the ford dealer who sold me a gallon of concentrated coolant which I mixed to 50/50 and topped her off. I did not want to add any other type of coolant to void the warranty. They got me set up for an inspection in a couple of days. This came out of nowhere. We will see if it's the water pump. At least they should now have enough experience to know what to do. I just wonder, will I get my $36 dollars back for purchasing coolant? LOL

I would push to get a refund on that coolant. I'm going to do the same. I even had them look at mine and they said mine was in no way leaking so I had nothing to worry about. I believe I was about 1/3 gallon low.

And I didn't know they sold concentrated coolant. When I asked, I always ask for pre-diluted just because I don't want to deal with that wherever I may be when I need it. I dealt with that stuff years ago already.

I'd try and get a refund because they did tell me they changed up the coolant as well

Well had it in at the purchasing dealership. They are the largest in the Green Bay WI Metro area. Never saw a BS come in with low coolant. HMMMM. so, I get the repot back that they see no leak and did a pressure test 20psi for fifteen minutes and it held at 20 psi. So, no leak no problem. They put in a dye to trace if anything is leaking but told me to check on it from time to time and keep a gallon of anti-freeze/coolant handy just in case. So, now I wait for the coolant to drop again for a problem that is becoming more well known each day. Still under warranty for 5,000 more miles so if the engine gasket blows or the engine cracks in the middle of nowhere it's going to suck.

Did you have to pay for the coolant? I had a similar issue. It was maybe about 1/3 gallon low but I was able to still see coolant in the reservoir. I bought the coolant before taking it to the dealer though because I was going out of town.
