Those of you who ordered: how long did it take to get the email from Ford confirming your order?
The salesman who took the order put it in right away, I got the email before I even left their parking lot cause I was sitting in a BB to get a feel for the seat height.

Those of you who ordered: how long did it take to get the email from Ford confirming your order?
Ordered and confirmed 12/21 at dealer. It took about a month to get a scheduled build date (back than). Delivered 3/24 St. Petersburg, FL (lucked out that train ended up in Tampa; if train dropped off in Jacksonville, FL, than would have been 3 weeks or longer for delivery). BS OB 360, Tech, tow, cyber orange, cargo mat

Unless your dealership is very responsive, I would suggest you call Ford Customer Relations and talk to a representative there. They are very helpful and glad to take your call. They can look up your order with just a few details from you and then they will give you the order # that will make the process faster in the future.

I think our orders, timing and location are similar except I’m on the east coast. My OB was dropped at the last rail location last week and hasn’t been to the dealer yet. The rail said “Taft Florida” and when I Google that along with “CSX” it shows as Apopka. How did you know your last rail location? Calling the rail company or did the dealer tell you later?

Something ain't right with your order. Bug dealer again, again, and again. Your situation sounds like a year ago orders.
Lorri2516 is not the only one with a long past order date and seemingly forgotten. There are several of us out here waiting yet. I've talked to the dealer, I've talked to Ford several times. And I keep seeing posts that, in theory, custom orders take priority. Yet when I talked to Ford the last time, the person on the phone made a point of "You're at a small dealer." So yeah, while I like what people post about priorities, I'm not living it.

Ordered 12/13, confirmed within 30 minutes on 12/13. Been at priority #2 for probably 2 months now.

Lorri2516 is not the only one with a long past order date and seemingly forgotten. There are several of us out here waiting yet. I've talked to the dealer, I've talked to Ford several times. And I keep seeing posts that, in theory, custom orders take priority. Yet when I talked to Ford the last time, the person on the phone made a point of "You're at a small dealer." So yeah, while I like what people post about priorities, I'm not living it.

Ordered 12/13, confirmed within 30 minutes on 12/13. Been at priority #2 for probably 2 months now.
A small dealer with few retail orders still should get a slot in line in less time.

Well I got my production date of the week of 5/23... Then I got the dreaded email that production has changed to 5/30... I hope it just stays at a week. We will see...

I'm in a really weird spot because I think I'm quite possibly the only person hoping their build does not arrive early.
I'm an Arizona resident currently on a 4-month detail assignment working on a different National Forest in North Carolina. I've got my Big Bend with me (that I drove with an abundance of caution across the country) which will be traded in for my ordered Badlands. Dealer told me 4-6 months when I ordered in early March. I'm sincerely hoping that timeline is correct, because thinking about my dream build sitting on the lot waiting for me to get back is just depressing. I haven't heard anything yet on a build date, but having that in hand would make me feel a lot better about things lining up.

I called Ford this morning. They do have my order and said I'm next in line for production. Which is anywhere between 30-90 days out from now 😢. They also told me that as of March 21st they are finally done completing 2021 model year orders. So there is still light at the end of the tunnel. Plus they emailed me a $100 gift card for merchandise.

That's quite the window! Here's hoping it's at the 30 Day end :blush:
And nice on the gift card! Maybe I need to inquire again......

Based on others already getting either the actual BS BL or their build dates, it sounds like something is going on at your dealer. Is it how many cars they can get? That should not be the case since we hear that custom orders should not count against a dealer’s allotment. So are they screwing you over in some way? Do you have an order number? If yes, you can call Ford and get information on your order.

Maybe you were unlucky or I was just lucky. From memory, they had to know my name and the dealer's name and maybe the order confirmation date. They then gave me the order number and then supposedly fixed the email address that was input incorrectly by the dealer's specialist.
