I must have won the lottery. I ordered my BL w/ Premium, 360+, and tow package on 3/19 and just got the email with a build date week of 5/30/22.

This is why I think either individual dealers/regional schedulers or Ford is screwing things up. I understand it can't be strictly FIFO because of constraints, but it should be FIFO among like units. There's a glitch in their system somewhere.

I agree. Ordered 12/2 and got the email a little bit ago that I was finally scheduled for 5/30 . . . so 6 months from time of order. This has almost totally depended on who I ordered through . . . which means it will be unlikely that I use them again. I don't think this is fair to the smaller dealerships. I'm also confused why any scheduling took place this week as it wasn't on their schedule.

Well Huzzah! that it's finally scheduled. Sorry it took so long, but I'm sure it will be worth it. I'm glad Ford is finally finding some focus on the retail orders for Bronco Sports. I understand that Mavericks and full size Broncos are getting all the press, but throw a bone here.

The order:

‘22 Badlands + Premium Package
CoPilot 360 w/ Assist+
Cyber Orange
Carbonized Gray roof
NO moon roof
NO tow package

order placed November 12, 3021
Communication on build week received March 31, 2022
Scheduled build week of June 6, 2022

So, there is, at last, a light at the end of this tunnel.

You're probably right. I ordered at Sunrise Ford North Hollywood, which is supposedly one of the largest volume dealerships from what I've read.

Wow, we ordered pretty much the exact same vehicle as each other and at nearly the same time. Unfortunately, I have not received an email with production date yet. Maybe later today?

This right here is the “dealer allocation” difference. I went through a low volume dealer on a BL with PP and it has taken me five months to get a build date.

Sad to see you still haven't heard anything yet also - fellow order date buddy. Not fun seeing all these 2022 orders get scheduled. I will kick and scream for that $1K after all this.
Didn't realize our orders were so close; date and content. I debated on the Cyber, waffled for awhile.
I hear ya' Hang tough!

I'm with a pretty high volume dealer (Phil Long Ford in Colorado Springs), so I have hope for an earlier build date.

Finally got News! Ordered Jan 21, 2022 - Build Date May 16, 2022! Going to be roughly 5-6 months from order to shipping if all goes well.

Ordered a cyber orange Badlands, co-pilot 360+, premium package, moonroof.

Wish I could have got it before summer started, but at least it feels real now!

Yep, no build date for me yet, although my dealer is probably "mid-volume." On the plus side, this dealer has always done right by me and the process has been, as far as I can tell, aboveboard. Worth the trade-off, at least for now :)

Volume should matter way less with COVP and incremental allocation...if it's done right. There are still constraints, but things seem to finally be getting a little better.
