The last 2 vehicles I ordered were ready just a few hours after getting unloaded from truck. No way I would want them spending a couple of days getting it ready. Too much of a chance for them put VIn etching or lowjack or a dozen other worthless options on.

It’s usually been a couple of days for me. Normally just waiting to get prepped. Never had them add nitrogen filled tires, etched glass etc. most of my purchases have been directly through Ford via A or Z plans so there isn’t room for them to jack things around. I suppose I could have pressed to get the cars sooner but 1 or 2 days has never been an issue for me.

My dealer called day it came said I could pick it up that day. Varies dealer to dealer though.

How does Granger notify you? I'm awaiting for mine any day now and not sure what to expect. I'm not local to Des Moines so I'll have to book travel.

All my communications have been via e-mail so I expect that will be the same. @Granger Ford, how are notifying people when their vehicle has arrived? Also how long for you to prep and prepare the paperwork? Thanks Zach!

Received my Scheduled for Production email today. Supposed to be built the week of April 25th. If nothing gets pushed back, any chance I'll have it by mid/late May? I'm in NC.

Anyone EVER see production moved up? I'm dreading receiving one of those production pushed back emails.

Yes, mine got moved up a week, then returned to the original date. Then it stated that way thankfully.

I only found out the order confirmation last week when I called Ford myself. turned out the dealer never put in my email address to the order so Ford didn't send me anything. I called the dealer I ordered from and ask them to put that info in. I'm not sure if they ever did. they said just call them to find out.

well, I think I will call Ford next month and see the status.

I also got the Badlands with premium package, moon roof, tow, cargo mgmt and co-pilot360. it is in Cyber Orange color. we will see when will it will be the build date and eventually to delivery.

Ordered on 1/28, got the email today with a production date of the week of 4/18.

My salesman notified me of production date. I asked if I could get the info from Ford directly, too, and said no as he didn't put my email in their system when he set up my order. So I wait to hear from salesman for updates.
Ordered / confirmed: 12/21. Notified mid-Jan production date was 2/21 than a week or two later, notified new Prod date 2/28.

Well, if you've got a window sticker, you can track (as in follow the non motion) on your own. The dealer can pull a more detailed report (why it's not moving), but that's about it. Whenever I think about how this is going, I go for a walk. It's less stressful.

So, based on the VIN beginning with 3, it appears mine will be built in Mexico. Not sure if they all are or, if not, how this will affect production and shipping of my OB.

Out of the waiting room! It was about 4 months from order date to pick up.

As an FYI for others, my timeline:

• Oct 11 - Ordered from Dealer
• Oct 12 - Order confirmed email from Ford
• Oct 21 - VIN assigned
• Dec 13 - Original production date
• Jan 11 - Updated production date
• Jan 30 - Built
• Feb 2 - Shipped
• Feb 8 - Arrived at rail yards
• Feb 12 - Arrived at dealer
• Feb 15 - PDI'ed ready for pick up
• Feb 19 - Picked up!

It was an awesome sunny day to drive across the Midwest too. Little snow and salt on the roads. After a 5 hour drive, the car was still shiny like when I picked it up. Wonderful car too, enjoyed the drive. Hope everyone else's orders goes through quick!
