My rail car # starts with TTGX so from this link https://thebronconation.com/forums/threads/rail-car-tracking.9198/ I assumed it was NS. UP gives the wrong alphabetic sequence and says the car is empty. I'm so confused lol.

The autoracks are shared by all carriers. Any alphanumeric identifier can be moved by any rail company.

TTGX is a designation of the rail car format…so most, if not all of our vehicles will be on a TTGX.
The numbers are a rail car serial number if you will. These cars can be towed by any rail company as they are pooled to my knowledge…
I had limited info from UP until NS took over in Chicago…then tracking deciphering was much easier.

Basically call all three and use whatever info is best or right . For me CSX was the only one by with info till it hit the Mexican border... Then both UP and CSX provided info.. UP Gabe me the interchange info and CSX the current info... Once I get across nthe Mississippi who knows which ones will work

So after almost 2 weeks showing In Production just saw that BL is now showing as Built. The waiting game begins.... part of me wishes it shows soon but part says no as my current one that is in the shop getting repaired has been delayed 2 weeks due to backordered parts. Cant afford 3 pmts at same time right now.

So I called ford to see if I can get any additional information on shipping and the rep on the phone said eta July 22. Today my salesman at the dealership texted me and said between July 5-12th. I’m not even sure I want to even try tracking the train at this point to find out who’s right ?

Train tracking is fun... Mine left Kansas City MO today heading for East St. Louis Illinois... Which is finally getting close to Michigan...

I'm back into 12 hour shiftwork soon and likely on nights (as usual), so I'd ideally like to have this done before that happens. Ford's estimates are accurate only so much as barring problems they will definitely make that time. My BS made it over 1600 miles in 11 days and now I'm expected to believe that the last 165 miles will take over 3 weeks? It's either inaccurate or a failure of the process.

Honestly... It's a crap shoot... Train and truck combination ... Too many variables

That’s what I am thinking. Considering I just got the shipped notification on the tracker a few days ago.
