I'm back into 12 hour shiftwork soon and likely on nights (as usual), so I'd ideally like to have this done before that happens. Ford's estimates are accurate only so much as barring problems they will definitely make that time. My BS made it over 1600 miles in 11 days and now I'm expected to believe that the last 165 miles will take over 3 weeks? It's either inaccurate or a failure of the process.

That’s what I am thinking. Considering I just got the shipped notification on the tracker a few days ago.

TTGX is a designation of the rail car format…so most, if not all of our vehicles will be on a TTGX.
The numbers are a rail car serial number if you will. These cars can be towed by any rail company as they are pooled to my knowledge…
I had limited info from UP until NS took over in Chicago…then tracking deciphering was much easier.

If it's in Nogales it's on a railcar. It won't go from Hermosillo to Nogales any other way unless Ford is trucking them across the border now, which I doubt. Also, I'm pretty sure there aren't autodeck load ramps there. What they probably mean is it has not been picked up in Nogales by Union Pacific yet. My BS shipped on 31May and arrived in Portland on 11June (2June transfer to UP at Nogales.) The idiotic Ford tracker still has the very generic 5-11 July estimate for arrival at the dealership in Port Orchard. If it sits for a month at the railhead Ford is failing their customers. A couple of Sports that made it to W. Wa recently both arrived at the dealership in 20 days from the date of shipment. I'm hoping to add mine as a data point soon. I'd love to say what the normative time is, but 2 data points could just as easily a coincidence, although being identical pushes some against that possibility.

Thank you, prawn...I appreciate your perspective and experience with this process! Next time I chat with Ford, I will ask them to clarify if it is waiting for transfer to UP and the reason for the delay.

Just an FYI.
For those of you waiting for transports out of Portland, I’m currently heading south on I5, about an hour north of Portland. Between 10:15 and 11:00, I watched 6 fully loaded transports heading north on I5. I couldn’t tell what they were carrying because of the jersey barriers and the speed (70 mph on my side). Hoping at least one was carrying Ford.
