Right? I think we need to start a new thread about what we're all buying instead as the Badlands isn't realistically available until 2022. I don't have a car at all right now and have been waiting it out. I may just buy some POS and see where the pieces shake loose. I understand the shortage of parts, I really do but the way Ford has handled this has left me questioning if I really want to be their customer. Maybe they did us all a favor. I'm so pissed.

Well, after todays news I'm not sure this is the great news I was hoping it would be... I now have a window sticker. The date on it is 06-07-21. I have not yet received an email from Ford for this update, I was just checking the tracker.

confirmation email with build date : 4/15

Area 51, BL+BL, 235's, 360+, tow, cargo mgmt, floor liners and cargo mat.

$640 higher than order price. $540 on MSRP and an extra $100 for the 360+

Mine changed to 6/4. According to dealer, it’s at a junction point. I’m not sure if she can see VVR since she’s the finance person we ordered it thru

I asked my dealer today for an update, but haven't heard back yet. Did you hear any news? Of course, I'm assuming we are on the same track

Dealer got me with a 500 dollar non-refundable deposit. I'm not to the point where I'm ready to just eat the 500 dollars...

And I'm not too keen on "close enough". I am a drive it til it dies kind of vehicle owner, and if I'm going to have it that long, it is going to have all the bells and whistles I wanted in it.

So I reckon I really have no beef to gripe - I've made my own bed at this point. But still frustrating.

I’m in the same boat, $500 is still a lot of money for me to throw away.

Yea M&M, I gave them a call and the person who answered said he knows of no not building Sports and pushing delivery or to OCT. He said if your vehicle is not built, we would be notified..

I called the dealer during my lunch break today. He said he would call me back in 10 minutes but that was 8 hours ago?. Nothing has changed on any of the tracking sites either

This is the exact example that drives me nuts. My BL+BL with 235’s and tow package was ordered on 2/22 and has a build week of 8/9! Does Ford realize the number of people I have told about this inconsistency! I know I know, they don’t care.

Ford has more Bronco Sport buyers then they need. They can sell every BS they can make. They don't care if ppl are getting jerked around on the ordered units.

BL w/BL package ( moonroof ), tow, 360, Falken tires, orange.

It shows in the Ford Order Tracker as order confirmed and I have had a VIN # for a month
but I have never received any E Mails from Ford and no Window Sticker is available yet.

The pleasant lady on the phone said it is scheduled for production the week of 19 July.
No thoughts on why I never get any E Mails.

birddog2, I don't get any emails either. If your dealer never attached an email to your order , you will not. I never passed him an email, and I'm thinking now too far along to bother.

My time in this room is short. Ordered OB+OB -moonroof on 4/15, built 6/4, just saw my sticker date change to 6/6, which I’m hope means it’s been transferred to the rail company for shipping. Need it to arrive in Chicago by 6/28 so we can take it on a road trip.

Hello all, I’ve been monitoring these threads for a few months now. My wife got lucky and bought an outer banks off the lot in March, and I ordered one as well.

order date 3/13
Area 51 Outer Banks, OB package, no tow.

dealer said either side of 6 weeks. 4 weeks later I got a build date of 6/28. 2 weeks later I got a push back to 8/2. I woke up Saturday morning to another pushback of 8/30. Not sure what to do… I’m sure many of you have waited a long time, but I feel as though this chip shortage is going to screw me big time.At this rate, it may be 2022 before it comes. I work for Volvo/Mack, and this is a worldwide global shortage that may take years to correct… stuck driving my 2009 civic… ?.

Ford states, builds continue june thru 2022 for your 2021 build model year will not change - per phone call
