So is week of 20 June a build week? Sounds like the original BSB I ordered is being built 25 June.

Waiting to see if it has the hitch, moon roof and 360 Plus! I seriously doubt it.
After several times of being rescheduled, last week I was pushed back to the week of 6/20 for production. I kept checking lastnight (since all of my ā€œrescheduledā€ emails came on Tuesday evening) for another dreaded push back but never received any emails. So I checked the tracker this morning and it showed to be in production, with an invoice date of yesterday. You may check tracker just to see if there’s any changes, if not then hopefully you’ll be scheduled next week ??

I didn’t order the hitch or 360+ but did order the moonroof. When my sales person placed the order, they came back and told me that Ford wasn’t accepting orders with moonroof so I had them to order without. But it’s been showing under the accessories since I received the VIN and it’s also showing on my window sticker too so I lucked out somehow.

Ugh…mine still shows as nothing and no windows sticker.

Ford Chat was kind enough to give me my railcar # and an update today. Now to find the best way to track the railcar...
CSX
1. Call the CSX 1-800-235-2352
2. When prompted for location or weight, press "1" on your phone for location.
3. When prompted for the car initials, say CN (or whatever initials you have) then wait for the next prompt.
4. When prompted for the car number, say 907048 (or whatever your number is)
5. When prompted for next car say DONE.
6. That's it; enjoy your updated status report.

Union Pacific
1. Call UP at 1 800 877-5123 1 800 877-5123
2. Follow phone prompts for Trace
3. Say the railcar number complete and clearly. Example CN123456 all together
4. Listen for your update

NS Norfolk Southern
1. Call 800-635-5768
2. Press 2.
3. Press 2.
4. Enter the letters on the numeric keypad then press #. As in: TTGX will be 8849
5. Enter the numbers then press #. It wasn't taking my voice prompts but typing worked.

What has been everyone's experience with the amount of time it takes to actually get your BS loaded on a railcar and moving? I received an email last Thursday 6/9 that my BS had been shipped and is expected to arrive at the dealer (in Kent WA) July 7-13. I contacted Ford Chat on Sunday and again yesterday and was told both times that it is in Nogales but not loaded on a railcar yet. And of course the order tracker shows no updates (still ASN and pending, which has been the case since the beginning of this journey!).

Also, are you all getting preapproved for financing while you wait? I SHOULD be within a 30-day window for delivery and these rising interest rates are making me nervous! I also want to trade my current car in. My salesman says we will do all that when the BS is here but I'd like to get as much out of the way now as possible to minimize time spent at the dealer.

Thanks in advance everyone!

Getting loaded on a railcar and moving is sometimes as fast as a day or two. It really just depends on how many vehicles are moving out of the factory at a certain time. Since it seems that production levels have dropped in the last month (for whatever reason), it might take a little longer right now. It does seem odd that it is a week later and still sitting in Nogales but not on a railcar, since the factory is in Hermosillo. I think if it is in Nogales, it is already on a railcar and just waiting to cross the border.

If it's in Nogales it's on a railcar. It won't go from Hermosillo to Nogales any other way unless Ford is trucking them across the border now, which I doubt. Also, I'm pretty sure there aren't autodeck load ramps there. What they probably mean is it has not been picked up in Nogales by Union Pacific yet. My BS shipped on 31May and arrived in Portland on 11June (2June transfer to UP at Nogales.) The idiotic Ford tracker still has the very generic 5-11 July estimate for arrival at the dealership in Port Orchard. If it sits for a month at the railhead Ford is failing their customers. A couple of Sports that made it to W. Wa recently both arrived at the dealership in 20 days from the date of shipment. I'm hoping to add mine as a data point soon. I'd love to say what the normative time is, but 2 data points could just as easily a coincidence, although being identical pushes some against that possibility.

I also find it odd that yours shipped 9 days after mine but is scheduled only 2 days later for arrival. I don't have any information on the car carrier portion of the trip. I wish I knew if it was more of a regular route kind of thing or totally ad hoc scheduling when there's enough vehicles to send a truck to make a trip.

At least it is scheduled and I have a VIN # finally. Definitely not gonna see it in August as originally hoped. Just happy to have communication on it.

I received my first ā€œscheduled for productionā€ email this morning too for Week of August 15th:
—-OBX with Technology Package ordered on 4/23/22

I’m expecting a rescheduled production date based on everyone’s experience here, but I’m thrilled to finally get a date after 8 weeks of silence.
