Last week I found an article on fordauthority.com that said certain BL options (Gray roof, Moon roof, tow pkg) will cause a 4 week delay in production. The article didn't say "why" these options causes the delay.

My sense of humor helps me deal with the wait. It will be 8 weeks Monday since the order and no build date yet. I’m joking about the reasons for the holdup....
1. Shortage of cactus for the paint.
2. Shipping tow package from the moon.

My order date was 2/22. I mean if it won’t get in production until after 8/2 then tell me so I can make a 40-45k decision. Just get me the truth.

Well after 9 months my wait is almost over. The dealer sent a Visibility Report that indicated my BS had reached Massachusetts by rail. I noticed my window sticker date changed a few days ago so I started checking the web cam at the ferry terminal that runs to our island. Checked a little while ago and my BS is sitting in the New Car lane waiting for a slot on a car ferry or freight boat. Should get to the dealer by morning.

Mine is close too. It was offloaded today in a rail yard in Michigan 2.5 hours from me. Salesman said it could be any day now until it's picked up a delivered. I'm finding the waiting to be even harder now that it's so close.

Got mine today. Ordered 1/13/21 a cyber orange Badlands with the badlands package, co-pilot 360 assist, and the tow package. Was delivered to the dealer 12 days ahead of the Ford estimate. In addition to the $500 cash rebate I also got $500 free merchandise from the Ford accessory brochure. I am thrilled with my new car and I'm glad I had the patience to wait and get exactly what I wanted.

Ah so lucky! Mine shipped 4/5, but has been doing a tour of the United States lol I’m in Florida but mine has gone all the way north and now going through all the middle states ??‍. Itching for it to just be here already! Last time I checked it was in Tennessee, so hopefully it will be here next week.

Ordered on 3/12. OB+OB w/ moonroof, 360+ and tow (Area 51). Finally got my scheduled production week of June 28th. I was starting to look elsewhere. Also been second guessing my color selection the more whites and cactus greys i'm seeing the more i like those.

This has taken a long time and I'll be extending my lease but I finally got scheduled for production today! Scheduled for June 28th (BL+BL, CyberOrange, 360+, TrailerTow, CMS), order was placed 2/24
