I'd say everything depends on how the Escape and Jeep Recon go over the next two years. I don't expect an electric, but a hybrid option would be a palatable option. Upgraded ADAS capability too on top trims. And I'd say low chance but...removable doors or roof panels if the Recon really proves...
I'm definitely a big fan of the two tone. I know it's becoming more common now, but at the time this was announced it wasn't terribly common yet so it felt like i had a pretty unique vehicle. I wanted something that was fun, extremely practical, and could handle any reasonable weather/terrain...
Considering the 2.5 is currently the only option in the US that would fit the Bronco Sport (and is in the Escape and Maverick, the stable-mates of the Bronco Sport), that's the only real option. Options here: https://www.ford.com/powertrains/hybrid/
Anything else is speculation of what Ford...
3 years, 37k, no major issues! The brake squeal in reverse issue is there, dealer has told me twice that they ordered parts but never contact me. When I've asked about it on my last two oil changes I always get told they want to look at the car again first. Honestly, it's the dealer experience...
Very much clickbait. This article claims in the title that this is a cost over time thing for certain models, but doesn't provide a single number to back that up.
I ended up spending $40 on OEM engine and cabin air filters (17 and 22 and change, respectively) and $12 on shipping from Levittown Ford up in NY. Perhaps still a little high, but it beat the crap out of the >$220 the local dealer wanted to do both of them for me.
I will give credit where it...
Fun to read, and I agree on the seats! I just recently went over 17k in mine and I think the only change I've noticed is a slight creakiness in the dash when it's below 30 degrees out. Overall the BSBL has been fantastic for my day to day and the best partner when making the long trips back to...
Weird amount of pessimism in here...costs me nothing to wave and every time so far its been a fun moment for me and the other driver. Spread the joy you'd like to see in the world :)
I wish that either Sport mode was the next mode after Normal, or that we could more quickly shift drive modes. The current dial and waiting for the graphic to come up is an annoyance compared to just pressing the "S" button on my fusion sport to get ahead of the other crossovers at the stoplight.
Hi everybody! Despite delays, I've gotten my BS Badlands and I'm ready to take it on some trails that are a little tougher than dirt roads. Could anyone recommend some good trails within about 4 hours of the DC area? Obviously its the BS so I'm not looking for rock crawling or very difficult...
Good to know! I actually got a chance to run a short auto-cross in an Edge ST (I know, I know), and it did really well, but had some trouble because the tires on it were already toasted.
I really appreciate your views on this! Which fusion sport were you driving? I'm coming off of a 2018 lease with Sync 3 and am just so excited to have this for some long road trips, I'm just gonna miss the 300+ hp.
This has taken a long time and I'll be extending my lease but I finally got scheduled for production today! Scheduled for June 28th (BL+BL, CyberOrange, 360+, TrailerTow, CMS), order was placed 2/24
I'm in almost the same situation with my Fusion due back back in June, with the BL+BL ordered on 2/24 with no build date yet...I've been told I'll be able to extend the lease 3-6 months, but I was hoping to avoid that...
Nothing concrete, just some speculation that its related to the chip shortage and copilot 360 assist + 2.0 enhanced or whatever its full name is(the one with adaptive and lane centering), citing that they are low on inventory for all sorts of models, like this, F150, and Edge. i confirmed with...
