My wife has wanted one since the first concepts. Too bad it's long wheel base version only for us. I'm afraid it will be too big and too expensive.

That’s a huge bummer. The one shown looks the perfect size, and I think it’s only 10” longer than the BS! Really like all these old school styles coming back on the market.

Four time VW van owner here ('68 Westfalia Bus and three EuroVan MV Weekenders). TBH, I am pretty disappointed with what has been shown so far, especially in regards to the very basic interior configuration.

The concept had some wonderful seat tracks to make it more easily reconfigured. Granted concepts are generally rather fanciful and not all that producible, but similar interiors have been available on VW vans going back to the "T5" generation of 15+ years ago, and the original concepts of this new van date back *20* years.

Hoping that they roll out a "Weekender" spec on down the line with a better interior layout, along with a pop-top.
