Iām surprised at how tiny it looks in the photos. At 180 inches in length itās about 7 inches longer than a BS. Itās cool to see more compact, capable offroaders but theyāre going to be so overpriced when they hit the US market (if at all).
Edit: Also yellow spotted in the concept video! l be
Iām glad theyāre buying it back so quickly. Hopefully your next car will be problem free for the next 100k+ miles. New cars are so fun but issues at such low mileage really leave a bad taste. I donāt think iāll buy another Ford again either, but their design really inspired other automakers...
Slightly unrelated, but the used car market is fluctuating like crazy. Maybe itās always been like this⦠I havenāt sold my 22 Obx yet because I had to go pickup my title. 2 weeks ago carvana offered me 22k, and this week itās 19k. When I purchased the Honda, the dealer offered 18k trade-in value...
I love the FordPass app and the fact that itās free. I hate car subscriptions with a burning passion. The Honda offers 3 years of google maps and then wants a subscription for that too, but iām just going to use Carplay.
The Passport is definitely worth a test drive if you havenāt already. I...
Iāve seen a few people go from the BS -> Passport. The styling and tech is similar, and I just got mine last week. Itās definitely a different class size and when I drive my BS it feels tiny now haha. The only bummer is that it doesnāt come with siriusXM.
Like you, iām around 47k miles and have...
I stopped by a dealer to take a look at the orange PP and came out with a new car. Itās quite fat. I tried aligning the backs as best I could to see the difference in size but itās hard to photograph well.
The BS paint is way nicer and has a gorgeous metallic sheen, while the Honda is more of a...
My 1.5L engine was just replaced and the tech said to drive it below 3000rpm for the first 500 miles to break it in. I definitely didnāt do that when I first received my car. Itās bit challenging to go so slow.
Look on the bright side, free new parts! I feel like half of my car internals is new due to warranty and recall issues, which should make it pretty invulnerable in the future⦠right? ?
Iād guess around 2-3 mpg less. I used to hit 30mpg easily with stock tires, but I rarely get 28mpg on a good day. I also drive with crossbars so that doesnāt help either.
Iāve had Nitto Nomad Grappers on my OBX- 235/60/r18 and theyāve been fantastic in sand, snow and rain. I honestly only go camping/offroading 5 days out of the year, but thereās a lot of tread even after 3 years and they look cool IMO.
Itās been a month and a half, but my bronco sport is finally fixed! This is what they found:
Codes P0302 and P0316
Spark plug tip was missing, and theyāre guessing it broke off somehow and fell into a cylinder.
āUsed borescope and found groves and pits inside the cylinder walls and the...
Did Honda drop the prices? I swear the Trailsport Elite was 54k starting msrp a few weeks ago. The dealerships around here have started discounting them already.
I've been doing a lot of research into the 2026 Passport TrailSport Elite lately, as my BS will be in service until early July (no exact date yet). I thought i'd list out a few observations in case anyone else was cross shopping.
Ford vehicle colors are simply the best. They're eye catching and...
Has anyone done any light/moderate off-roading in the Passport yet? Iād love how it compares to a BS or Subaru.
My stock OBX + nitto nomad tires is so surprisingly capable and weāve done so many trails without issue. Iād be sad to lose out on that!
Just got an update, my service advisor hasn't seen anything like this before so that's exciting. Basically metal debris got inside the engine, so there's a lot of contamination and multiple parts they need to replace in addition to the engine, such as drains, lines, as well as the turbo charger...
Yup, theyāll be providing me a rental from Enterprise. Iām a bit surprised itās not a Ford vehicle.
Still waiting on the service invoice from the other dealership but hoping to get more details today.
I have a 2022 Outer Banks that I love. I take it in for regular service, and itās the perfect adventure for me and my 2 dogs.
I drive between Norcal and Socal pretty often, which is around ~330 miles. Anyways it was 100 degrees outside, and suddenly the car starts shaking like crazy and the ac...
