I went to the service desk at the dealer I bought the Sport from a week ago and asked about getting into engineering mode. The service writer said she had no idea but would check with a tech and call me. I asked if they had a way to correct the fuel mpg bias. She said no, that other customers had asked them to do it.
She just called back and said that the tech and the service mgr said that Ford removed the ability to get into engineering mode in the 2024 vehicles. Who knows if they really know that or are just blowing smoke, but mine does not seem to work. I'll be interested to see if others, either here or on the full-size Bronco forum, have '24s and what they find when trying to get into engineering mode.
I''m hoping that it can be done in Forscan.

Did you happen to mention that you thought Ford might have removed the feature, or did they come up with it on their own?

As I wrote before, I was able to get into it once, right after we bought it. I wonder if they removed the ability via some automatic update later on.
