I went to the service desk at the dealer I bought the Sport from a week ago and asked about getting into engineering mode. The service writer said she had no idea but would check with a tech and call me. I asked if they had a way to correct the fuel mpg bias. She said no, that other customers...
Just to update, I charged the battery fully then tried the normal sequence of presses and also tried the variation posted by Dude a couple posts above. Still nothing. More and more, I have to feel that Ford has done something to close this loophole.
Has anyone tried to adjust the fuel bias...
I have not load tested the battery, but we have only had the truck a week with a June manufacture date and the autorestart never goes off which I know happens if the system detects a weak battery. I just can't imagine it is the battery, but I will put it on a charger to assure it is fully...
Just in case others are following this... Dude and I live close in AZ. He was good enough to meet me and try his hand at getting my new 2024 Sport into Engineering Mode. He was not successful either using the same strokes he uses on his 2022. I sure wonder if Ford did something to either...

Thanks for the reply to what I know is an old thread, Dude. Yes, those are the instructions I used. Additionally, some Ford model instructions say wait for all screens off, or some other variation. I've tried a couple dozen times. I also tried the above "Diagnostic" mode just now with no...
I realize this is an old thread, but hope someone will see it. We are new to this forum. We just purchased a 2024 Sport BB last week. We have a 2023 full-size Bronco and have used the engineering mode to adjust the fuel bias. While we are not ready to adjust the bias on the Sport, I wanted...
